Running out of options. Of course, if Riley fails to appease LeBron and he leaves, I'm sure Riley will flee the sinking ship soon after in true rat form.

Realizing he is about to get served some sweet revenge in the form that he doled out to the Cavs in 2010.

I still think Lebron re-signs with the Heat though.

Or maybe Riley knows the big 3 are gone and he's assembling a tank squad.

Expected move, but still disappointing. Knicks to stash Thanasis Antetokounmpo in Europe for a season. http://nypost.com/2014/07/07/knicks-to- ... in-europe/

Bummer. I'd kill to see them try to put that name on the back of a jersey.

Marion or Morrow would also help them and make me feel uneasy, but Butler would be on par with the Granger signing.

Signing a true big man would have helped them, but at the end of the day they have the easiest road to the finals of any contender if they can bring back the big three..

Do you think they moved the needle in a positive direction? The way I look at it these role players addition dont change any of the dynamics for them. With Bosh and Wade declining they are still due to get worse going forward. Sure they stll have the easiest path to the finals but IMO their best to chance to actually improve instead of continue a steady decline was to add a legit center like Gortat or Gasol and or a wing like Deng.

IMO if we somehow get Melo we could be favorites over MIA.

If we can just retool the roster and being back a high caliber team like our 2011-2012 rosters we would still have a better shot against MIA than we have ever had.

As of right now (assuming the big three + Allen come back), I think they're marginally better. Don't see how you could argue that they're worse, but they've definitely had an underwhelming off-season.

Mind you I dont think they are worse because of the additions but rather because of decline of Wade and Bosh. I just think these moves mean their role player quality stays about the same as it was.

Wouldn't be surprised. Give them a year to prove they suck and its not him, then bounces with a clear conscience.

We're either forced to clear the cap space, he's forced to take a little less, or he just actually joins the Lakers. Regardless, I dont think the Knicks would be this stubborn. It wouldnt be good for their rep with agents/players. If he makes it clear he wants to move on, theres no incentive to handcuff him. They have all the reason in the world to at least get something in return

Seeing both Pat the rat and Morey get screwed in one offseason would be awesome.

I hate this time of year and being a Bulls fan. My heart, hopes, dreams, get shattered every time. I swear to god if Deng is the player we sign out of all of this, I might think about poking my eyes out.

God yes it would. I wouldn't even need to see the Bulls win a title to be happy(I'd still want one though)

Return to Chicago Bulls
