Nope...everything said and done is always about Derrick Rose.

be that as it may, this does involve derrick because the competition for PG spots just got a lot more Intense. And we all think it would be great if he made the team and got much needed experience.

Funny that our superstar, former MVP, is about to take the court again and his thread has 5 pages in several days.. Kevin Love thread has 400 pages. I kind of like it this way.. Derrick is so under radar this time around. I just want to see him come in and start taking names. I know it's a lot and I don;t have unreasonable expectations but I can dream. reality is he'll be rusty for a while and we have to be patient. But I want him playing in games ASAP.

Just happy to see Derrick get some solid competiton. I'm most interested to see if he has finally added a reliable jumpshot finally. He has been able to workout since late December so there should be some notable improvements in his game. Fingers crossed. Excited to watch him though.

Yup and everybody is nervous as hell about it, including me. The franchise over the next several years is really on the line and it can go either way for us.

Youngest MVP ever. Then that damned lockout year happens and the rash of injuries accumulated to the ACL.

Just so damn frustrating knowing how young he was and how bright of a future he could have had. Now all we can do is hope for the best.

Rose was so freaking good in 2011, it will be quite sad if he isn't able to regain all-star level form. I'd put money on it that he does but man...if only he didn't run into this slew of injuries.

When has derrick ever "dominated" in a setting like this, even dating back to his HS days? I think it's more likely that he'll try to blend in and be a good soldier than to try to dominate and take names. They wouldn't need that out of him anyways.

i think it's just about him playing well and showing signs of the burst and speed he had in the past.
