*Take care of the basketball, have to cut down on the turnovers. Rose improving here helps.
*Pick up their guard bringing up the ball early, in the backcourt, it gives bigs time to get set and uses up some of their shot-clock before they can get into their offense
*Limit second chance points - guards to have to look to rebound to secure long rebounds that go over bigs and back out
*Limit points in the paint and midrange shot points (result of poor P&R/P&P defense)
*No excuse for fast-break points AFTER MADE BASKETS! Simply can't happen. If Love plays, then extra attention must be paid to this, as he has shown the ability to launch length of the court chest passes.
*Guards, fight through the damn screens, and bigs be aware of the roll/pop guy.
*Stay away from the 'dump into Pau' syndrome, it wastes too much shot clock while he gyrates through his array of back to the basket moves. Forget that, sit 18 feet out making Thompson or whoever come out, and let Rose dribble penetrate and kick back for those 18 footers.
*Taj, gotta get your D on and your shot-blocking on, Pau can't defend 1-on-1, his blocks totals are deceiving, as they are mostly 'help blocks' he gets, versus defending one on one. Make quicker decisions with the ball please and if doubled, react and pass it. Also, Taj, if they call stuff on you, turn around and STFU, they ain't gonna change the calls cause you're bitchin' and moanin', and then you fall asleep on coverage while pouting, so yeah, there's that...
*Prefer Moore/Snell getting Hinrich minutes and Niko giving Pau some more bench time, but Niko's gonna have to really step it up and avoid silly/too many fouls.
*They can get away with some Brooks minutes on the 6'3" Irving, who'd have to chase Aaron on the other end.
*McDermott could return, but not sure about any significant minutes or contribution, being that if he did play, it would be his first game back. But a few threes out him would be nice tonight.
So, yeah. basically it's a trap game for Cleveland

Silly Derrick really could use the Marshawn Lynch guide to dealing with the media. Every time he speaks, something stupid comes out.
Glad to hear that our star player isn't letting basketball get in the way of his stories. Phew.
Just amazing that a guy doesn't want to take his work home with him. Are judges supposed to go home and watch court TV or doctors supposed to sit at home and watch er? I'm sure he watches film with the team and preparation for their next opponent. What's the issue? Seriously? Finding fault in everything he says is getting ridiculous.
Amen
