Yep. Born in Chicago, raised in Robbins...which is about a close to being raised in Chicago as you can get.

So I hear all the time

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Lebron still hasn't signed yet.

I just think those two guys have a full schedule.

Jimmy may be the best player during the regular season but I think Wade will be the best in the playoffs.

Have we determined what kind of emotion this signing strikes into the Heart of Lebron?

He technically was born and raised in Chicago though. He's from 59th and Prairie (his childhood home) on the city's South Side. He didn't move to Robbins with his dad and his family until he was around 9-10 years old. He went to high school on 106th and Central on the Chicago Ridge/Oak Lawn border at Richards High. He pretty much is a Chicago kid through and through...

Most kids from Robbins go either to Eisenhower or Richards. Robbins doesn't have an highschool. But could agree he raised in both of those areas.

I clearly remember this commercial...

The eventual roster construction with Wade over this season and next will be interesting to watch.

I swear, anyone can look good in a Bulls jersey.

I hope we never make significant changes to our iconic jersey, it's just simply a classic but still so damn trendy.
Why so serious?

I'm glad Wade is officially a Bull.

I was a big fan of his when he came into this league, but the last 4 years I've been a love/hate fan with him.

I'm glad I can just go back to rooting for him again.

Now the conspiracy theory can put to rest regarding Wade pulling a DJ

Glad it's official, I am looking forward to the press conferences in two weeks, and most important I am excited for this coming season should be very interesting, and exciting to watched. I am planning to buy a Wade Bulls jersey whenever it's available only question is which color should I get? lol.

I have been both a Wade and Rondo hater. That said, my hate for either of them was dwarfed by my hate for Rodman, who I grew to be a huge fan of, so...

Anyway, on Wade, I suspect he'll play as much as he wants to play, but it would be great if we keep him at 25-30 mpg for the season - likely through resting on b2b's. Although, I still believe that staggering his and Jimmy's minutes will be a key to our success this season. It will keep Jimmy fresher, and allow Doug and Denzel on the floor more to space things.

Alright ball is in hoiberg court, time to show us you know how to coach and was worth getting cashed out for 5 seasons.

Any good coach gets this team into the playoffs and probably top 4 in the east.

You're expecting Jimmy to be a superstar or have superstar numbers when he won't have as much time with the ball in his hands.

Jimmy will still get plenty of scoring opportunities. I'll be surprised if he doesn't average around 18 shots a game, and with his ability to get to the FT line, I see him averaging around 23pts or so.

I see him being more efficient because of better scoring opportunities, but I don't see him averaging over 23 with our backcourt. Also, he's no longer the bigger player now as he'll be playing the 3 also. At least at the 2, he had a size advantage on both ends. But we'll see. If Jimmy was efficient and averaged 23 plus, I'd expect him to be a starter in the ASG, and expect us to make a run in the playoffs. But we'll see.

It's not like teams didn't put their best wing defender on Jimmy, and it's not like he didn't handle the best wing attacker on defense, either. Not much changes, IMO, in who defends him, and who attacks him.
