Now that's the Euro player worth keeping and investing in it.

Makes me wonder if Lauri will play for Finland in this years Eurobasket

I encourage everybody to come and check it out you won't be disappointed. Its non-stop basketball all day. I sat right behind Gar Forman last year and heard him talking about signing Zisper. I actually opened up a tread last summer about it lol. My whole point is that it's a lot of fun. Word of advice, don't say anything bad about the lakers up there. There fans are crazy and out-number everybody lol.

I was there last year too. It was an awesome experience. I ran into Portis at the Vegas strip, he's a pretty cool guy. Won't make it this time though. I wish I could because this years roster is intriguing.

That's pretty awesome, I'm going this year and I'm hoping to get an upclose and personal experience.

I plan on buying tickets there (to avoid the processing fees), is that a good idea? Or should I buy them online?

Honestly it's cheaper just to buy them at the box-office up there. I bought mine online because I did not want to wait in those long lines in that heat. It's about 110-118 degrees in Vegas. But its definitely cheaper to buy them at the box-office. If I remember correctly it's 25 dollars at the box-office but 30-40 dollars online. The best thing to do is to get there early so you won't have to wait in those long lines. You also get better seats the earlier you arrive.

I was planning on buying the tickets as soon as I land 7/7 (since the box office opens at 10am and games don't start until 3pm). Then head to the hotel before heading back to the arena. Hopefully there won't be a long line.

lol yea man I ran into Portis right outside the Cox Pavillion, really cool dude. Also me and my buddy was sitting right next to Dunn and Adrian Payne in a restaurant in the MGM building. The funny thing is my friend told him he wished that the bulls could've moved up to draft him and he just laughed and said thanks. I thought Adrian Payne was Demarcus Cosuins at first because he had a hat on lol.

Your friends wish came true and Dunn is with the Bulls. But yeah, this is a perfect time to run into NBA players. Have fun and share your scouting report to us.

It'll be a good experience for him. He'll be going up
against pretty good talent. He should be Finland's best player.

You just forgot Blakeney.

Payne
Dunn/Blakeney

Cause Mirotic's experience made me this way. He should stay in America work on his game with NBA trainers during most crucial years of his development instead playing at trash Eurobasket.

Totally agree! Euroball is a good developmentally for young guys, until they are trying to play NBA ball. I think the slight differences in the ball, the 3pt arc and the rules slow a player's ability to make the NBA game intuitive. I feel like Niko's problems every year were due to re-acclamation.

When you are young and developing, I definitely think the NBA team should take precedence. You need to soak up as much time with the coaches as you possibly can and learn the NBA style of play.

As you become more of an experienced player then playing in tourney's is less of an issue.

How could the Bulls draft dry up at #38? Who was on it? What about Hartenstein? Ike? ... Gar sucks!

Should be a pretty strong SL team again. Hoping we see a step up from some of these guys. Looks like we have some solid signings as well - wouldn't be surprised to see someone get a contract offer.

Blakeney is only 20 and he's got an athletic base to work with, so if he shows anything I would like to give him a shot. We need super young guys.

Does anyone know what the situation is with the undrafted guys like Dozier, Motley, Oliver etc.? Did they sign with the teams or is it just SL deals that other teams can poach if they want?

Motley I think signed a two way deal with the Mavs. So he gets paid both like a minor leaguer in baseball would.

Not sure how a summer league player is gonna make the roster if you believe Paxson on roster spots.
Can't fit a talented big but can fit a SL guy?

I hate to keep bringing this up, but what if Brimah, Walker and Blakeney turn out to be - God forbid - BETTER than Bell?

OMG, the horror!!!!
