Giannis, Morant, Luka, and Nurse are no brainers to me. Can't say I know enough about 6MoY or DoY awards to feel highly confident.

Re: Around The NBA: 2019-20 RESTART
Agreed that Giannis, Morant, Luka, Nurse are easy picks.
DPOY is going to be interesting. Anthony Davis barely has even a positive DRPM, just +0.33, but his team has a highly ranked defense. Gobert leads the league in DRPM at +4.94 but his team isn't a top 10 defense. Giannis is a contender by stats, but typically the award doesn't go to MVP candidates for the double dip, otherwise we owe Tim Duncan a handful of DPOY awards he never won even one of them even though he was one of the best defenders of his era.
For 6M I think Schroder, he's clearly one of the key players for OKC while Lou & Harrel are definitely supporting cast for LAC. Schroder doles out more assists than SGA and scores more than CP3 and often has to be OKC's safety valve on offense. Also factoring OKC lost Westbrook & PG and haven't lost any seeding in the West, I'd vote for Schroder.
If anything, Schroder illustrates how the 6M eligibility rules are kinda vague. Schroder is OKC's highest usage player which is usually the star player. His usage is higher than Jimmy Butler's.

Damn, Lillard missing 2 key free throws in such an important game is something I did not see coming.

Agree that he probably won't get it, but to me Giannis should absolutely win MVP & DPOY. The Bucks defense, which is elite, only works because he can basically cover the rim and the 3-point-line at the same time, he's everywhere.

If that were to happen, its going to start raising some red flags for the Sixers. Lets see what Embiid does first. If Embiid looks lack lusters or unmotivated, I wouldnt be surprised if they value Simmons more.

People are down on Wendell but honestly when healthy he’s in impact player. Carter, LaVine, White, Porter are probably the bulls best players honestly. Problem is 2 of them are plain injury prone. And one was a rookie learning the NBA.
If the Bulls had drafted Porter, they wouldn't have Carter unless they traded for a pick. They both were drafted in the same year...

Would you or any Bulls fans be happy back in 2018 drafting Porter at 7 who had a back surgery while at Missouri and another not too long after he was drafted considering the medical staff that the team had? I wouldn't...

Re: Around The NBA: 2019-20 RESTART
So if Denver wins the bubble chip this year, does AK still get a ring? They've got a lot of injured guys, but goodness - with MPJ's star emergence, they have the deepest depth chart in the NBA by a mile(-high).
Murray's back and looking great (basically sealed the game just now). If Harris and Barton return in time for the 1st or 2nd round, and Millsap is rested and managed... This team's got an incredible lightning-in-a-bottle opportunity here. Also considering the overall uncertainty of rosters with this whole COVID bubble.
Their depth chart is just insane. They've got 12 playoff rotation players. Lot of low-minute veterans and role-players, but they cover all the bases.

After a slow first half, MPJ adds 17pts in the 2nd half :
23pts/11rebs/2stls/2asts/1blk (8-8 ftm)

And Malone is an exceptional coach.

Once again in 2018, were you willing to trust the Bulls medical staff with Porter who had two back surgeries in the space of a year? I wasn't; they would have messed up the kid.

It is kind of crazy that Warren is going nuclear since he entered the bubble.
