Perhaps the biggest question with Dotson was his true height, but he turned out to be exactly as advertised. Listed at 6 foot 2, Dotson measured 6-feet tall without shoes and 6 foot 2 in shoes. That put him at eighth on the list for point guards, and he was eighth in standing reach, too (7 foot 11 1/2), but those numbers are far from disqualifying as an NBA prospect. Dotson's wingspan was measured at 6 foot 3 1/4.
Dotson also measured out with a hand-size of 8.25, which tied for the fourth-highest score of the 11 point guard prospects who were measured. He came in with a body fat percentage of 5.9 percent, which ranked ninth out of 11. He had the second-widest hand with at 9.5, and he weighed in at 178.6 pounds.
