not even underwhelming he looks like a bust to me. ft rate, shooting efficiency are key indicators you dont need to wait 3 seasons to evaluate.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Pat had huge turnovers tonight, but his a 19 year old rookie so whatever. His shooting and defense continue to be very impressive.

Honestly, the only one I noticed was the one where the ball went off his leg.

He had a bad charge too.

I'll take that charge...at least he was going to the rim, which I want to see more of. He needs to work on his off-the-dribble game to become elite, but he is a very good ball handler...just needs to become more decisive with his moves.

On a separate note, he has impressed me of late with his help defense...IMO, he is already our best help defender (and maybe man defender too), and he is doing that without getting into foul trouble, which is sorta crazy.

He's far more mobile than a "PF" , I expect his efficiency to drop once teams scout for him and realize his handle is shaky.

He made some really great passes deep into the paint.

All signs point to an all-star for me

FT rate and shooting efficiency are the #1 and #2 things that universally grow in a young player. Well decreased TO rate is right up there. But those are the big 3

Wiseman can't hold Pat's jock. Dude is just another dunk/block center with really low end skills that would have been impressive for a 7-footer back in 1988. He's just a poor man's Ayton, who himself is a poor man's…I don't even know.

People are STILL getting suckered by height.

Yeah I hate those centers who get dunks and blocks. They're the worst

Wiseman is shooting 53% on shots 16ft to the 3pt line, 40% from 3.

As a comparison, red-hot shooting Pat is 56% on on shots 16ft to the 3pt line, and 48% from 3.

Both impressive, so I'm not sure what more skills you're asking out of your 19yo center than dunks, blocks and shooting range.

This is just from Wiseman's last game (nothing special, 18pts, 5reb) . Can anyone plausibly say he has no skills or isn't a talent at the level of Pat, seriously?

In this game alone he leads multiple fast breaks for an assist and a score, has multiple one dribble baskets that begin from the top of the key, multiple pull up mid range shots and multiple recovery blocks.

The guy still has a ton to learn, but it's clear why he was a top pick and remains a top prospect.

Pat last 5 games

12 pts 4.4 rebs 1.2 asts 55%fg 57%3ptr in 30.6mins on only 8 shots tho.

For the first time this season, I saw Billy have Pat more involved in the offensive or initiating the offense. I hope we continue to ramp that up because analyticalally it shows he should be taking far more than 8 shots per game.

The assist numbers are obviously low, but he seems to have one great pass per game. Last night, it was the feed over to Wendell on the drive. Great to see.

I think Billy is doing it right with PWill. Defensive focus and don't run too much through him on offense (yet)...you are right though, it should ramp up by the 2nd half of the season. I'd be happy if he's taking 12 shots a game by then.

Lauri and Otto should be gone by then.

I'm so impressed with him. His shot is legit. In time it will be impossible to close out on. Imagine if he gets a pullup three game in a few years.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

He’s got a long way to go but the package of physical tools and skills are there for him to be the only one of three franchise players we’ve had since the Dynasty.

I‘m committed. Tar and feather me with this in 3 years.

I hope he trains with Zach in the offseason. I'd prefer Butler, but...
