Anyway, overpay. Low PER to get the MLE. But wonder if this was part of landing Ball. Relationships...

Okay, did not realize he is apparently a very good defender. I get it, sure.

I need us to figure out our front court though

Caruso doesn't just played with 100% effort on defense he has great IQ and instincts, plus he's a strong athlete. I'm not sure why the Lakers are going against everything that made them a contender, which was elite defense.

Watched way too much Caruso the past few years. Love his defense and seemingly clutch shooting. Leader for the 2nd unit. Utterly shocked we signed him though.

AKME probably saw too much Coby last season and told themselves “this dude ain’t it”

Damn I didn't think he was that good of a defender. Looks like a great pickup to put next to Lavine/coby

Think Dunn who can spot up for 3 @ 40%

Seriously this dude is gonna be a fan favorite the minute he checks in. A god damn pest on the perimeter, athletic, solid jumper and doesn't need the ball in his hands. When he gets his first dunk the United Center is gonna explode.

I like your starting lineup except that, if we retain Theis, I’d start him at PF and bring PWill off the bench.

Caruso
Zach
Ball
Theis
Vuc

Now there’s a balanced lineup. Everyone can shot the 3. Good defense. Enough creation.

We look like last years offseason version of the Atlanta Hawks.

Made a big trade mid season for a big. Signed excellent free agents in the offseason.

Hope you are ready Zach!

We can still sign theis cause we have his rights

We NEED to keep him. Only enforcer on the roster.

That's what I'm sayin, we need that goon on this squad.

This seems like plan B to Derrick Rose considering this came out a few minutes after Rose signed. Guessing the Bulls were going for a hometown discount from Rose and he declined so it was off to Caruso.

You really dont want to play caruso, lonzo, and pat at the same time. As it stands now, id rathet start coby at the 2, and keep caruso for the bench. We’ll see.

We need Theis next to Vuc. I’m still adamant about keeping Pat at the 3. Caruso isn’t a starter.

Agreed. I'm pretty confident Caruso won't be a starter either

Check out fan reaction on silver screen and roll. Most Laker fans are pissed at losing Caruso. Again, he sets to tone with defense and energy on the 2nd unit.
