Miksapp is such a GarPax move. Pure trash with no substance left in the name.
Give me Demarcus Cousins. If not, give me Jarred Vanderbilt from the Wolves.

I want Milsap so I don't agree... but I'd say that Cousins is the anti GarPax move and just because he is an Anti GarPax move doesn't mean he isn't himself trash with no substance....
Vanderbilt I would love also.

Re: Bulls Remaining Roster Spot Discussion
I think we will just wait on trade waivers round the deadline. I almost guarantee we will scoop some players up by then.

Re: Bulls Remaining Roster Spot Discussion
Question for everyone, is it a posssibility to bring back Thad Young just before the trade deadline? I think bringing him back would make our bench one of the best in the NBA, if not the best. With improved starting lineup, we could be a tough out in the playoffs.

Demarcus Cousins or Deandre Jordan (pending buyout from Nets)

As in a trade or hoping he gets bought out?

Cousins seems to have more left in the tank but I’m not sure how much more. Aside from Milsap, Cousin and Jordan being recognizable names do any of them make you better?

I'm a little surprised we didn't round out the rest of the roster today. You'd assume that we'd have offers waiting to go out to guys immediately after the Lauri trade.

Is it just vet mins and the BAE available? Not that these guys strictly stick to a normal business schedule either but it was a Friday afternoon and may not have been urgent to get done today. Whoever may be out there has been out there for a minute already?

Re: Bulls Remaining Roster Spot Discussion
Millsap and some wing shooter (Wes Matthews, Garrison Mathews, Svi Mykhailiuk, min guys like that) and I'm extremely happy with the roster. Could also live with Vonleh instead of Millsap if he prefers taking the min with the top-tier contenders.
No to Cousins, at any price.

Re: Bulls Remaining Roster Spot Discussion
So now we have 2 spots. I also saw that we have the $5MM TPE that we might be able to use.
I would still like to see an offensively capable 4-5. The guys who are out there that I like for this are Hartenstein, Aldridge (if healthy), and Milsap (who might be doable via S&T for the TPE - correct me if I'm wrong). I'd also be totally up for a bought out Love, if that happens and looks like it's being discussed.
I'm ok with a second 4-5 who is more of a rim protector, but nobody out there really excites me. Maybe a guy like Bell or Pelle (don't know much about him) or Tacko Fall who might be situationally useful and just cool to have.
I might prefer a scoring wing who can fill in for Coby while he's out or give us depth to do a Coby trade later. Guys on the latest list I saw were Reddick (can we use the TPE to S&T for him?), Moore, Galloway or even Val. I would also consider Mike James, who is more of a scoring PG, but is probably better than any of those guys and can play next to Caruso nicely.

I would flip the first from Portland in a sign and trade for Vanderbilt…

We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

Let’s grab Millsap and call it an A+ offseason

I have never liked Love. That being said on the list of guys available Love may not be a terrible buyout option. In this role he might be the best fit, that is if he can remain healthy at all.

I've been reading that Love would likely go to Lakers or Nets

Can't help but wonder what AKME can do with an injured Coby, a gently used Pat Will, DJJ, TBJ, and a lottery protected 1st.

You have to assume that is part of his plan. I assume at the least Coby and the pick are going to be shopped.

Comes down to which former Can Love wants to make a run with, Irving or LeBron. Those two are the obvious choices for sure for almost all buyouts. The wiretap though says he is not interested in a buyout, Love loves his money.

Sign Millsap and then (ready to get killed for this) sign Valentine as 15th man.
