Except the whining posts outnumber the posts whining about whining by about 10:1.

It's not even close to the same thing.

One of those things:
Criticizing the team

Is a relevant topic for a Bulls forum

One of those things:
Criticizing fans for criticizing the team

breaks the terms of service of the site and is not a relevant topic about the Bulls at all.

Did I miss the part where you talked about Bulls basketball or do those TOS only apply to me?

I'm allowed to express my opinion about the state of Bulls fandom, am I not?

In reality they probably don't care either way.

I can't imagine Boston is going to struggle with either squad.

I'm a moderator, and I'm explaining to you why one of those is appropriate in my role as a moderator.

Sorry if that was unclear for you.

:dontknow:

It's a slippery slope, I think it's certainly fine to some degree to express some frustration with rampant negativity about the team, but it's very easy to slide into negative comments about posters which are attacks and inappropriate vs posters making complaints about players that are not on here.

Again, one of those things breaches terms of service and one doesn't. If you went overboard, instead of explaining it, I'd have given you a warning about it, but you seem to be confused as to why one thing is okay and one isn't, so I am clarifying that for you.

Fair enough. I didn't think my post would qualify as going overboard. It's about as vanilla of a critique as it can be. I'm just trying to understand where the line is.

Out of respect I'll drop it now.

I don't think they care. Jimmy less Heat or a Bulls team that even disregarding the talent different is a terrible matchup for them. We can't possibly hope to contain their length and size. They are looking at a gentlemen's sweep against both teams.

That said, let it be us so we can get 5 more playoff games experience for our squad.

Outside of Hero and Bam the heat really have nobody that can break down the defense. Play smart and the Bulls should be able to keep miami to 1 and done. Just have to communicate on defense and not turn the ball over on offense.

Is this a 6pm tipoff or one of those long delays and it actually starts at 6:20?

It's 1 am here, my son will wake about in about 5 hours. Don't make me regret this, Bulls.

Also, I'm officially too old for this now.

As an infrequent poster, I'm apparently dumb enough to just say that while I wont get into the specifics, I was confused by this whole thing too.

Funny how we hit a stroke of luck in winning the Rose sweepstakes…. And then, pissed that away, and then…. Injuries.

Now we have a borderline playoff team with no hope. No future.

That’s depressing as a sports fan.

We're playing right into their hands. They are playing walk it up and shooting open threes. We are getting nothing in transition.

Jimmy would’ve been a lot easier to defend than Jamie Jacquez.

Chicago is doing exactly what Philly did to start the game. Offense is way too slow against this zone. They have to speed it up and make quick decisions.
