I have really soured on Giddey. His defense is just so horrible. He doesn’t attempt to even put a hand up. I don’t know if I have ever seen a guard worse than him, he’s so bad he’s impossible to even hide on defense.

Sucks, because he is unique and talented on offense and rebounding. But given the salary he’s asking for, and the fact he wifey overpaid because of his offense, please please don’t let us be the ones paying him.

as I said the other night, fool's gold. there is a reason he was benched in OKC.

I knew on paper this would be a bad defensive team…but geez, watching it live is just depressing. They can’t guard anyone. Just feels like a JV team. Guess it’s time to start watching Duke…

CHSN was a blessing. Don’t know why I went out of my way to ditch Xfinity partially to have access to this garbage. The Bulls have ruined NBA basketball for me.

He also has what? 2 points in in the last two 2nd half s combined ???? Pretty sure last night at the half he had 10, and finished with 10. Tonight he had 7 at the half, finished with 9. He's the most unclutch player in the league

At least this might mean we won’t be surprisingly mediocre and push for the play-in.

This is just a bad team that can get hot some nights. Trade Zach & Vuc (our best player this season) at the deadline and we’ll be firmly in the mix for Flagg & a top 5 pick.

The Bucks and Sixers wont stay there so we have nothing to worry about. I would also say the Pistons are better.

I said this at the time: Bulls should've got picks instead of Giddey(from OKC or another team). It didn't necessarily need to be amazing picks, but something the FO could use to build for the future.

I guess DDR was the defensive anchor? They were 16th in defensive rating last year and 5th the season before that.

If the Bulls don’t beat the Hawks this might really long losing streak. And I’m all for it. We need a generational talent to turn this around for real so a top 5 pick is almost a necessity. Really top 3.

Also Vuc really turned it around with DeMar gone. He was clearly holding him back.

The defensive philosophy the last few years was to limit transition points, points in the paint, and offensive rebounds. By limiting highly efficient scoring opportunities the Bulls were able to have a average defense despite not have good defensive personnel.

With Caruso gone nobody on this team can stay in front of elite offensive players. While Derozan wasn't good defensively, he didn't turn the ball over which helps keep teams out of transition.
