Yeah Matas is proving he should have never played early in the season..

I think someone posted it last week that he was like 27th in minutes for rookies. Just insane.

Even more insane is just this week someone said he needs to stay in the G League until after the ASB and someone else said he doesn't need to play to develop because he goes against NBA players every day in practice.

This has nothing to do with Matas I'm a huge believer in him.

The thing for me, I am not even advocating that Matas gets 25 mins a night and take others out the rotation. No. I just wanted him to have a consistent 10-15 mins until things get ironed out.

Some nights are going to be bad, but some nights are going to be amazing. But you wont know that unless he plays.

Two weeks ago Matas was going to be firmly placed in the G League. Zach being banged up was divine intervention that prevented that. But Matas had to jump on that opportunity, and he did. Thank goodness.

Well, there's plenty of objective room to be skeptical about him. He's been putting up terrible numbers this year, frankly. I really hope we see him start hitting his shots at his career rates. I'm a big fan of his story as well, but I am perhaps more bearish on him than most here.

10 minutes was never enough at least after his first few outings. He had shown it was time to play him more many games before now and they just wouldn’t do it.

15-20 though should be a lock and should have been for awhile now even when Pat was playing.
