we’re all apathetic. The bulls may still be packing the UC but they’ve completely alienated a large majority of their passionate fanbase. But it doesn’t seem to bother them or hurt them enough to do something different.

I’m actually post-apathy where I’m rooting for the Bulls to win the IST simply because of how comical it would be. But I don’t really watch the games just check out the box scores. I couldn’t watch the games if I wanted to anyways since I don’t get CHSN and finding streams online is annoying and they don’t cast to my tv anyways so who cares.

Apathy is the perfect word. I've only watched like 2 game this year so far. I really couldn't care less with what they're doing this year until they trade Zach and Vuc and decide to rebuild. Also fire billy, because I'm sick of hearing about Matas not really getting any playing time.

Don't even think the Bulls played all that well and they just breezed to a comfortable victory. Sarr had perhaps his best game so far in the NBA and it barely registered or mattered.

I like Giddey getting to the line 8 times. If he can get to the line it will be a huge boost to his offense.

Aside from Coby and Zach our 3-point shooting was pretty bad, and again, was an easy win.

Still can't get over the Wizards 3rd quarter taking 19 free throws and losing the quarter. Amazing really.

I know the NBA Cup rewards point differential but I don't think it requires keeping our starters out there. Carter and THT are more than capable of jacking up shots at the end of a game.

Going to have to play a lot better to hang with or beat Orlando. Even without Banchero you know they're always going to come out playing hard.

The fact that there are several pages would indicate somebody does care. So other than being completely contradictory, I will speak for everyone like others seem to and satirically say "everybody thinks that was a great post, keep up the good work"

So you couldn't care less... unless and until they get really, really bad and have no good players left. Then you will start watching?

I also thought this was a weird blowout. I don't think we played well-except Coby got hot from 3. Vuc/Smith were solid, but it was a quiet 20 pt lead

The Wizards are straight up not an NBA team right now. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I wouldn't want my team to tank this hard right from the start of the season. They're on pace to win less than 30 games...this and last season combined.

For years the Wizards were a team trying to compete, but not doing a good job of it. Once Bradley Beal was traded they finally decided to move in a new direction and rebuild. I'm sure its not great watching a team lose on a regular basis, but I bet their fan base is glad that the front office is making an effort to change rather than continue to be a mediocre to bad team.

The Wizards took several swings on player acquisitions and missed on big names like Russell Westbrook and Jordan Poole. They also dealt with injuries to players like Otto Porter Jr. and Bradley Beal.

Additionally, some of their draft picks, such as Rui Hachimura, took longer than expected to develop into reliable NBA rotational contributors. IMO the NBA overall still drafts too damn young.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I think he's a good kid. He tries. But he's just not a good enough player to get rotation minutes. It must suck to have been drafted in the First round but then start realizing your dream ain't gonna come true long term. It's a shooters league and the kid just can't shoot well enough consistently. He'll be playing over in Europe in the near future if he can land a spot somewhere. Phillips is a better player. And once Matas is our full time "4" then Patrick might get the bulk of the minutes at SF.

Because what they're doing is working. I guess you can have fun one time a year when they beat a bum East team in the play-in.

I am very happy. 8-8 when Lavine plays, while playing one of the toughest schedules in the league. I'm rooting for a 6 seed.

Yes. It's not like what they've been doing up to this point has been working. They're still trying to compete for the playoffs, I'd rather be bad where there's nowhere to go but up vs trying to be good and failing miserably.

Don’t understand what you aren’t getting… No one wants to care about or watch a team that they feel is going nowhere, has no vision for going anywhere and hasn’t been anywhere in almost a decade.

If you are enjoying it, great! I’m happy for you. I didn’t make a conscious decision to go from watching 82 games a year in good years and bad years and avidly obsessing over the Bulls to barely watching any games. It was gradual over long period of time but eventually yeah I just largely stopped caring. And judging by the fact that the game threads have went from 100+ pages in the glory days to 4-5 pages now, I’m not the only one (yes I know it’s also because people have found other ways to discuss the Bulls but even a few years ago when they had their one good season the game threads were a lot more active). If the Bulls get their **** together and put a fun team out there and you can see a vision for the future, I’ll happily jump back in and I don’t care what kind of fan that makes me look like. But I just don’t see any reason to watch the current team until they pick a path that isn’t mediocre.

-Melo (2014)

How about... we speak for ourselves and not others? Why are you here, on the Bulls page, telling everyone how you have no interest in the Bulls amy more?

If you are judging team interest by RealGM participation, don't. You know why I don't post here nearly as much? Because of posts like yours. Several other people have said the same thing.

You know the other reasons? Antiquated web page design. An app that is totally ignored and doesn't have the same features as the website. Pop-up ads that are so 2010 that they are unmanageable in some browsers.

Do you really think this old beaten horse of a message board is the barometer of interest in sports? I guess no one is interested in any team or sports any more compared to 15 years ago then. Look around.
