You can (and should, IMO) get mad at the FO for desperately trying to win every year despite never building a team that's any good, but Billy's job is to win games. There aren't going to be many rookies who help you more with that than Tre Jones does right now. Even Okoro probably helps you more than most rookies.

He’d be such a big upgrade over Vuc.

Hopefully Portland can sneak into the playoffs this year. He'd be a good target with that selection.

Good games from both Yaxel and Stirtz.

He didn't have the best game today, but Cameron Carr also looks like a lottery talent.

Carr is an explosive crazy athlete Tre Murphy. Better defender too.

I expect Nate Ament to start falling down draft boards. He hasn't lived up to the top 5 projection.

There are 4 Centers we might have a chance to get. Chris Cenac, Hannes Steinback, Henry Veesaar, or Ngongba. The way we're hearing we are sure to be in the Lottery. Maybe we get lucky and can draft Boozer's kid as our future PF.

One recent Mock has us Drafting him:
#12. Chicago Bulls - Hannes Steinbech | Washington | F/C | Comp: College Mo Wagner

Hannes Steinbech is slowly becoming my favorite big man of this draft class, with an exciting mixture of high level rebounding, shot blocking, scoring ability and winning impact. After missing a few games and dropping a few spots in our previous mock draft, Steinbech has once again risen, following a massive performance in a loss to UCLA, where he put up 29 points and 10 rebounds. For the Bulls, adding the Nikola Vucevic replacement is a much need, with the Bulls set to be serious buyers in hopes of landing a secondary star next to Josh Giddy. With Chicago slowly beginning to slip in the Eastern Conference, making this move may have to wait another year so they can solidify themselves one more high upside core piece to pair with Giddey and Matas Buzelis.

He's probably going to be on the Board when we pick. He's a little older but that makes him more likely to be able to produce early. If that damn Portland pick would ever convert we'd be able to pick up a Center as well. A draft outcome of Lendeborg (projected 15-20) and Henry Veesaar at Center and we'd have the makings of a real NBA team. But my gut tells me the Portland will continue to suck long enough for that protected first rounder to revert to a 2nd round pick in 2028, which would make that Lauri trade with Cleveland and Portland look like one of the worst trades in NBA history.

Yaxel is adult playing against kids. You dont wanna even waste 2nd rounder unless you have two on guy like him. Guy was supposed to be in draft last year but nobody wanted to draft him early hence why he went back to college for another year.

Return to Chicago Bulls
