I would like to see a swing at Fultz. Only thing is it's yet another financial commitment, his rookie contract is a pretty hefty one. But that's the price you pay for getting an upside prospect for (assuming) neutral value.

What would it take to get Aaron Holiday on our team? I would love him for a second rounder and eating some unnecessary contract for a year.

Bulls out-Dunn Hutchison Valentine Lopez and 2RP
Memphis out-Mike Conley

I love Mike Conley but I think there are cheaper vet pg options this summer that give us close to what he is and still give us extra money to spend elsewhere.

Let Conley go to the Magic

LAC need another C for this season, we could send RoLo over there, but they would need to send some salaries back.

Rolo and Dunn for Teodesic and Pat Bev. Maybe give them a 2nd rounder I dunno. Get Teodesic who has always wanted to play here. Let Pat Bev go or cut him. Sign a different vet PG in summer.

Id love conley at this point. Again, the bulls arent getting anyone in FA so might as well trade for good players if you can. That above trade for conley. But still draft Ja Morant to learn under conley the last couple years and take over when conley is gone.

Conley
Lavine
Porter
Lauri
Wendell

Boban and Fultz for Lopez and Hutch. Gives Philly 2 rotation players while we get to enjoy Boban watching over the tank for half a season and get Fultz ready for next season

Give the 76ers more depth. They give up on fultz. Bulls take chance on fultz recovering and becoming a star(ter)

fwiw, I think philly would take that deal, but it would be terrible for us.

Terrible? That makes no sense. We were going to let Bobby walk this year (as evident by him being traded today) - effectively making it a Dunn for Fultz swap. I’d roll the dice on that 10/10 times.

If I thought Fultz had true promise then I'd quickly do a 180 on my opinion, but jesus christ he's only played 30ish games in 2 years and couldn't shoot worth a dam for the majority of those. Granted he might turn it around but for 9 million next year i'd rather spend it on someone that's healthy, I just don't like players that are flawed (mentally or physically) AND expensive. My 2c only.

I'm praying Dunn for Fultz is real.

I see what you're saying, maybe I just dont think that highly of Dunn and I am very much in the low risk high reward camp with Fultz. There obviously is a huge question with his mental block but if he can get over that, he was a legit #1 overall pick and was great in college.

sure, we're really not far apart in disagreement, and i'll admit i'm higher on dunn than others, probably because during the win streak last year I was excited about his future with the bulls. I'll also admit I haven't seen enough of Fultz to comment except that he is wearing a suit every time I see philly play and his youtube highlights are filled with the yips. so i'm no fultz expert by any stretch.

Dunn, for all his flaws, especially some late in games has actually helped us tank, and I secretly suspect that some of that is intentional, perhaps i'm way off on what was going through his head on some of those last minute mistakes.

I wonder if the Bulls might want to get Rubio back in a three way Conley trade with Utah and Memphis. Lopez and a second round pick outgoing.

If we trade for Fultz, I'm gonna lose my mind.

And not in a good way.

Please no, Rubio is tragic. Dont want him anywhere near the bulls.

No way we trade for Conley or Rubio now. Would ruin the tank.

The real question is what can a 3-5 pick and 20M in pure cap space get you via trade for a PG???

Too much to pay for Jrue Holiday.
Not enough for Lillard.
Too much for Lonzo and Lavar.
Kyrie ain’t coming. Either is Kemba.

Maybe you trade back and send Dunn and 8-10 pick for Jrue. Or Lavine for Jrue straight up. Pels will be rebuilding and I think Jrue will be traded.

For Fultz could something built around the following work:

Bulls in: Markelle Fultz and Milos Teodosic

Clippers in: Robin Lopez and Zhaire Smith

76ers in: Kris Dunn and Lou Williams

Bulls get Fultz and a vet pg for the remainder of the season

Clippers clear even more money for next season and add a rookie wing

76ers bolster their guard depth.
