Yeah maybe Kawhi too. Hard to know. He had a stacked Spurs team, then a stacked Toronto team (good enough to be a #2 seed after he left), and now he's on a stacked Clippers team. But he's one helluva player performer, that's for sure.

The only player in the NBA who gets teams into the Finals by himself is LeBron

hard to make that argument when he couldn't even get into the playoffs last year. and you're pretty much guaranteeing that they win it all at this point given the addition of AD

Man watching Jimmy tear it up is so bittersweet. On one hand I'm vindicated so hard for sticking up for him but I'm also crying in the corner that he's not ours anymore

Russell Westbrook makes so many awful decisions you’d think he has money on the Lakers. So many things that’s arent gonna show up in the box score. At least a dozen wrong decisions.

Mark Jackson is at least calling him out consistently for not bothering to get back on defense. Just brutal.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong

Fire Garpax?

If only it happened appropriately after the failed 2016-17 campaign. The places we might have been...not selling Jimmy G short, drafting better. We could've been/should've been the Heat right now (i.e. with high end and not bottom barrel leadership).
I was being facetious lol. But I wholeheartedly agree with you!

If you're going to rule out LeBron, which I don't agree with but I also don't really care about, because he's a side point, that strengthens my argument.

FYI if the Bulls keep Jimmy... Gar/Pax are still in charge.

Yeah yeah yeah that's why I'm happy he found a good landing spot but selfishly I'd rather see Jimmy making winning plays and dragging poorly built rosters to the playoff instead of f**king Lavine chucking us to the lottery.

I also do think Jimmy would have recruited kyrie and/or DMC

Guess just making the playoffs is okay with you. I would enjoy another title in my lifetime.

It was Jimmy's camp leaking the Kyrie stuff. Irving said at the time he hasn't really talked to Butler much. I dont think Jimmy is the type other stars want to play with.

Do you have any quotes from kyries camp? He was good friends with both of them on team USA. Embiid wants him back. Jimmy is literally the guy everyone who actually gives a **** about winning WOULD want to play with. Fake ass stars obviously get butthurt getting called out.

“Irving says he’s aware that he’s been linked to Jimmy Butler in persistent free-agent rumors regarding a mutual desire to play together in New York, but he says he’s had no such discussions with Butler. In fact, he says, the last time he talked to Butler at length was when they were both playing with USA Basketball, and the two engaged in a spit-balling session along with [Kevin] Durant and [DeMarcus] Cousins about what the future held for each of them.”

That spitball session turned into kyrie and KD going to the same team (and DMC on warriors). If Jimmy was on a stable team, who says it couldn't have been with him?

The recruiting never occurred because right when jimmy had enough pull to recruit a player he was traded..... F**king garpax
The sh*ttiest thing is that the recruiting rumors came out a few days before the trade when gar apparently told him that he wasn't going to get traded

Wow, Buck Dynasty. Philly and Milwaukee still taking turns having parades with floats filled with treadmills. Very embarrassing loss.

You go Jimmy. Butler seems to have found a home and culture he likes in Miami. Good for him.

The recruiting never happened because you need someone who actually wants to play with you.

Not sure but Westbrook might be the worst good player in the NBA. Houston may be wishing they still had Chris Paul (and those picks).

Bad timing on this one huh. Houston is up 15 and Westbrook just hit a 3.

Return to Chicago Bulls
