For a 3/4 Liddell is not undersized. He has almost a 7'0" wingspan and had the 2nd highest vertical among all the front court players at the Combine. And his timing on blocks is elite. He averaged more than 2 blocks a game. He would be undersized at the "5". But that's not where his potential lies. He can guard 1-4 and the way he slides on defense to stay between his man and the hoop is so fundamentally sound as to be elite in this draft class. And look at the way he's built. Solid frame. He's strong. Watch the highlight video how he chases down guys going to hoop when 95% of the players in College would have conceded a hoop in a relatively meaningless regular season game. This kid takes defense personally and seriously. OK, so he's not the answer to our problem at the "5". But he can handle the minutes Patrick sits and he can even share the front court with Patrick when we need defensive stops.

You want to clarify the bolded part? I also.dee no scenario where he can play the 3 in the NBA.

Defensively he most certainly can play the 3 in the NBA.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

Good, I like this kids 3&D potential. Still confused as to how he'll be 22 this year though.

It means his parents got busy a couple years earlier than the other draft prospects, hope this helps :D

Ignite players are generally fresh out of HS our NBA journeymen. Marjon graduated 4 years ago, and decided not to go to college. There was a 2 year gap, then he decided he DID want to go to college, so he attended a JUCO, then decided to join the Ignite. That's a very weird career trajectory. And that doesn't even take into consideration his jumping around in HS.

I knew what you meant, my comment was tongue in cheek, I thought that was obvious.

My bad.

You think EJ Lidell is going to be able to matchup with the likes of Tatum/Jimmy/KD/Wiggins etc? He is a 4 and small ball 5.

If all Lidell is asked to do is slide his feet and keep them in front then yeah he probably can do that a few possessions throughout an NBA game. He'll give up good looks from the perimeter though but you can live with that depending on matchups I guess. If he's forced to play up against somebody like Tatum then he'll probably get beat off the dribble.

If guarding 3s also includes fighting through ball screens, defending high PnRs, and chasing guys on the perimeter, I also doubt he can do that as well.

I always cringe when guys at 6'6-6'7 should be small ball centers lol.. Maybe a guy at 6'8-6'9 yeah, but..

Eason is my 1A for #18. Eason or Liddell(1B) would be fantastic.

I absolutely do. Plus I think he will lean up. His body fat was 12 percent and with his work ethic, I think this improves

I don't see why we would need him to very often. Demar plays the 3, and PW can play the 3. I would think Liddell would primarily be used at the 4, just like Karl Landry or Draymond.

Eason is a beast. I would love to draft him but I believe he will go top 10. I will be surprise if he doesn't. He has Jimmy Butler or Kawhi Leonard type potential in my opinion. If he improves in certain areas of his game he has the potential to become a star in the league.

This guy would really give our interior D a huge boost. It sounds like he'll be gone by 13-15 though.

Yeah, I think those combine measurements might soldily push him into the lottery. He would be a great get though.

I wonder how high pick we could get for Coby and #18!? Maybe around 8-10# pick?

I don't see why anyone would be interested in that. Wouldn't even do it if I were Houston at 17. You're definitely not getting in the lottery unless you add more.

I like our spot, though.
