So would an offer of TLC, Holmes, 10, and 24 perhaps convince CHI fans to trade out of that 8th pick?

Hum. As sco said earlier, would need to be a draft night deal, and would depend on who is on the board at #8.

Throwing in TLC is enough for me to go from 8 to 10. I figure below guys are gone.

Ayton
Doncic
Bagley
JJJ
Bamba
Porter Jr
Bridges

So TLC + Young, Shai Gilgeous, Carter, plus 24 (that maybe we could package with Pels pick to move up) is good enough for me.

Condition is Mikal Bridges has to be available at 8. :lol:

Who would be available at 10? Miles Bridges? Kevin Knox? I'd probably just keep 8 and pick Mikal if he's there.

I assume the top 7 in some order are Ayton, Doncic, Jackson, Bamba, Porter, Bagley, and Young. So if the Sixers take Mikal at 8, I would further assume the Knicks take Miles at 9. Which leaves Carter, Sexton, and SGA at 10.

That's why I'd probably keep the pick and not do the trade. Getting an additional pick (#21) is nice, but we already have #22. TLC and Holmes have potential too...I'd just rather get Mikal and then draft best available at 22. Like someone said earlier, the Bulls need quality not quantity.

I would’ve thought you guys would have Carter over Bridges. Learn something every day. :lol:

Would anyone be interested in the idea of trading the Pelicans pick, next year's top 10 protected and Bobby Portis to LA for Brandon Ingram and taking the Deng contract.

Reasoning for Bulls obviously adding Ingram gives the Bulls a Eastern Conference playoff caliber starting 5.

PG=Dunn
SG=Lavin
SF=Ingram
PF=Markkanen
C = RoLo

For the Lakers they get legit value and open cap space in losing Deng's contract.

I'd do: Pels Pick, Our 2019 lotto protected pick, Valentine (or Grant) and Felicio for Ingram and Deng.

I'd swap Bobby for Felicio if the deal didn't include Deng's bad contract.

Ingram has star written all over him, insane improvement from his rookie season. I don't see the Lakers giving him up unless they get back a star in return.

I wouldn't give our 2019 pick. Maybe a pick swap or 2020 protected.

So, #25, a top 10 protected pick, and a bench player for Ingram and taking on Deng’s salary?

Of course we would do this but the Lakers laugh for reasons mentioned above. Ingram is their franchise going forward. He’s 20 years old and shooting like 48% from the floor and 40% from 3PT.

Well the star would be in free agency with two max players. If you're Magic Johnson what would you rather have Ingram and PG13 or PG13, (Possibly LBJ or DeMarcus Cousins) and 2 1st round pick assets and a solid rotational player/borderline starter in Portis.

I would consider giving up the Bulls lottery pick up as well, unless it's a top 5.

Lakers already have enough cap room for 2 max players. So I'm pretty sure they would rather have 2 max and Ingram.

Yeah, I'd do it. Not sure how LA would gauge it, but we would be giving up a lot of value.

They would have renounce all of the rights to their free agents. So you would rather keep Brandon Ingram over all of your free agents 2 draft picks or more and a legit rotation big. I respect your choice, as Ingram does have star power.

It basically boils down to if you're the Lakers do you truly believe Ingram will be a top 5 player in the league in a few years. If he turns into a top 5 player then it is a bad trade if anything else it's not a bad deal.

For it to be win for the Bulls Ingram would simply need to be in the top 10 at position.

What's the trade value for the Bulls to acquire Andre Drummond and or Stanley Johnson?

Random idea -

Monk / Hornets 1st (11th)

for

Portis / Grant / Pels 1st (let's say it slides to 15-20 range)

I kind of question how big the value difference is between the two pick ranges the more I look at this draft, but it's an interesting premise considering we'll need to pay Portis sometime soon and he's stuck behind Lauri.

What about a LaVine S&T for Deng and Ingram. Throw in Pels pick if necessary.

I believe Lakers will move Kuzma or Ingram to get away from Dengs contract. Bulls have enough to make something happen.

Don't see it for Hornets - they have overcrowded front court as it is, they give up considerably better pick and better prospect in Monk - at least he is on rookie scale longer (he didn't deliver as was possibly expected this season, but I wasn't too surprised since it is going to take a while for him to become impact player in NBA with the way he plays)
