I'd take Okungwu and Toppin over Advija.

I doubt he wants to come here but that would be awesome.

Re: Around The NBA
After seeing the haul of picks MIL sent to NOP, I wonder if they could've gotten a better player than Holiday with that offer. That said, mad props for the Bucks FO for the moves they made. I wasn't sure they had much assets to upgrade the team and they managed to get 2. I guess this means Giannis is staying now.

Re: Around The NBA
Holiday feels like when Cleveland was desperate to keep Lebron happy so they massively overpaid Larry Hughes, a guy Lebron was personally recruiting. Like Hughes, this is Milwaukee's final chess move for a championship and I don't see Holiday being that championship piece like AD was for LA or KD was for GS.
It's better than losing Giannis so I understand the necessity, but historically bad trades to keep your star happy haven't worked out well.

It wasn't just Holiday, though. It was Holiday and Bogdanovic. Not to mention that Holiday is a much better player than Hughes was.
Holiday is, IMO, about the same tier of player as Middleton - sort of a fringe all-star, 20th to 30th best player overall, type. Bogdanovic is a tier lower, but still a darn good player. Then you still have Brook Lopez. You find any reasonable bargain depth, where the Bucks should be a pretty attractive option to ring-chasers (outside of LA and one or two other teams)... I mean, this makes the Bucks better than they were last season - and I'm not sure that the Heat were better (or will be better next year), or that the Celtics will be as good (especially if Hayward is dealt), or the Sixers, and who knows what the Nets will be.
They'll have a good shot to make the finals, and a punchers chance if they get there.

Re: Around The NBA
I personally don't like the Bucks moves... they are B-moves ala GarPax, not A-moves. It reminds me more of the Conley/Utah trade, where I don't think the pay-off will be there.
Main thing with Jrue, is he’s simply not a great playmaker. NOP’s best run, they had Rondo running the show with Jrue off the ball. Watching the Bucks against Miami, I felt they needed a small quick guard to open up the floor. FVV, Paul, Murray, Kemba, etc.
Who is their “relief” shooter? Middleton and Jrue still aren’t gonna bury contested shots in the clutch. I like the Bogdanovic addition. But they spent a LOT on Jrue. Don’t even think Bledsoe is that bad to warrant all those FRPs.

Jrue trade was to secure Giannis. So, even if it is a massive overpay it’s worth keeping him for 5 more years.
Even if one of those picks end up #1 overall it’s worth it.

Re: Around The NBA
I question just how much of an upgrade over Bledsoe Holiday really is.
Bogdanovic is a nice get. But they could have just, you know, kept a better version of him in Brogdon and actually still had a bench.

Bledsoe is absolutely awful. It’s a tremendous upgrade.

I will reserve judgement to wait and see what Bogey gets paid.
Big overpay for Holiday IMO.

If Bledsoe is awful, I wonder what Holiday, who is less efficient and not really any better a playmaker, is.
He's one of the most overrated players in the league IMO.

I agree with all of this if they get some type of scoring punch off the bench! If they get someone off the bench, I think they have more than a punchers chance to win it all.

Good moves by the Bucks but I think they need a good, young 3 pt specialist to take them over the hump.
