Sharife Cooper as well.

Giddey, Copper and Ayo are the three main guys I’m eyeing in our range right now. In that order.

I think Giddey will be awful on D. Same w Cooper and he can’t shoot.

I take Ayo over both of them.

I want Barnes if we miss the playoffs and keep Lauri at C. His edge, D, hustle and playmaking would really help us even though he’s raw and will take years to develop. He’s high IQ and his edge will play day one.

I like Barnes too. And I agree about Giddey’s defense. It’s just that I don’t care so much that I wouldn’t draft him.

Evan Mobley is so freaking graceful out there. He’s custom made for the modern NBA.

Don’t get your hope up. #7 and another likely bust is on the way. We don’t tank properly bc we are always chasing that playoff cash despite having no chance in hell.

If we get the #1, Cade and Mobley are my #1a and b. Given that thought, zero chance of us grabbing either one.

He’s Jaren Jackson IMO. Who I loved in his draft behind Luka. The game has changed so much in two years that I would not pick Mobley higher than 5. Kuminga Green Cade and Suggs have the same potential but much better fit in this nba.

Evan Mobley looks very very thin though. He looks like Bol Bol. I think he will be pushed around alot at this point.

I was making a general observation. I don’t give any thought to the Bulls getting a top 5 pick. But regardless I do think we should forego this fool’s errand of a “playoff run” and focus on enhancing draft position and assets.

Doesn’t appear to be the plan but hopefully this recent stretch of ridiculous losses will spur AK in a different direction.

Bol Bol will never put on good weight, plus he’s an overrated scrub and was never a good NBA prospect to begin with.

Mobley will be able to add good weight over time. His frame is fine to develop into a Bosh/KG body type.

I gotta be honest, drafting yet another big in the lottery would kinda freak me out.
Yes, his hype is miles above that of any other prospect we drafted these last few years, but still

Giddey rolled his ankle last night, in a moon boot. So we won't be seeing him for a little while unfortunately. Flirted with a triple-double again last night. 15/10/7.

mobley doesnt even shoot well like jjj although he is the superior rebounder. he is pretty much a traditional big men dont want.
trading down for kuminga and nabbing ayo is way better.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I just noticed him due to his recent plays. He’s going to be one of those guys who might sneak into late lottery.

I really like this draft depth, in term of playmakers at pg/sg/sf. I would be ecstatic when AK can get another first rounders and come out with two playmakers. This team desperately need playmakers. Defensive big is a need as well, but it is a need that can be addressed in FA or in the second round.

What’s really interesting is that the top-5 in this draft would actually be a pretty awesome team together:
Mobley
Kuminga
Cunningham
Green
Suggs
I haven’t gone back through the drafts, but that’s got to be rare!

Cockburn looks like a non-prospect

This performance has been very familiar. I think these guys would fit right in on the Bulls

People calling Ayo a lottery pick are insane. Nice little role player eventually but this game has shown he has does not have the ability to take over when needed.

Ayo lost a bunch of money today. That was a pretty pathetic effort against a team that they should have been able to easily exploit. It's nauseating watching teams unable to find wide open players against teams that constantly double team everything. Illinois' guards have been poor against ball pressure all year.
