Great roster makeover. Bottom line, you need All-Star level talent that knows how to play and has the hunger to win. If you don't have elite talent, then you can make up for it with hustle and effort. The Bulls have that now. I fully expect the MLE to be used on a vet big that brings defense and hustle plays like Caruso or even possibly flip Lauri for a good defensive big.

Looking at the East, Milwaukee and Brooklyn are clearly the frontrunners but it's a crapshoot after that. The Bulls can make some noise if they have good chemistry.

Anyone who thinks demar is a problem has no clue lol. Demar was the first option of a top 10 offense 6 of the last 8 years. The two that weren’t top 10 were the last 2 years of a crappy spurs team. 3 of those years the raptors were top 5 offense including the year they went to the conference finals with a not great starting lineup of Lowry/derozan/Carroll/Patterson/valanciunas.

Everyone who is worried that he doesn’t shoot threes doesn’t realize that he is one of the best in the league at creating threes for teammates, barely turns the ball over, gets to the line a ton and consistently shows up every night because his skill set isn’t high variance like guys who jack up a ton of threes.

His defense is sub par but his offensive game supports the defensive side of the ball by allowing the team to get set up and make opposing teams have to play in the half court.

Wow! Consistent big ballin from the Bulls office. Billy D and making trades. Callin shots with lonzo and ninja movin for Double D. AK playing chess in a checkers game. Super impressed.

DeMar is a great talent, welcome DeMar. Bulls have had a good offseason for a change. It's nice to have a GM in charge that gives a s**t about winning and wants to build a contender. Marc has been great so far. Go Bulls!

If there's still space in the cap to sign few cheaper defensive players, it will start to look even better.

Derozan was the focal point of opposing defenses in San Antonio and he still improved his efficiency. With how much attention he draws, his teammates will be wide open for 3s like they were for the Spurs. Now he can pass to Lavine, Lonzo, Vuc, Pat, etc. If he doesn't get doubled/tripled, Derozan can take pretty much any defender one on one.

Idk what Eversley has been doing for a year but he made his money worth with this signing.

you think the bulls are as good as the bucks now?

Or the Heat, Hawks, Philly?

Better than the Knicks, Pacers and Raptors. Likely even with the Celts. Punchers chance team. In no way are they better than the Bucks in my book. I’d like them to prove me wrong though.
I’m not saying they are definitely better than the bucks but I do think they can compete against them. When the time comes we ll see who is better. Should be a fun season.

We're also finally talented enough to take advantage of injured teams. We may not be better than the Nets, but we may also not need to be if they're as unhealthy as they were last year. Same with the Heat.

I have no complaints with what the Bulls gave up to get Vuc, Ball and DDR. None whatsoever. I have full confidence that AKME can recoup those losses in the future if need be.

The upgrade of talent on this roster is amazing and I am exciting about the upcoming season.

I think Bucks might be our worst matchup. They can minimize Lavine more than most with Holiday and Middleton on DeRozan isn't bad either. Then we have no answer for Giannis. A 1 star injured Nets team should be competitive

With DDR, we finally have a lead playmaker wing - a Jimmy Butler on offense. He should function as our primary PG in the half court and at the end of games.
