I don’t know man.
It’s like Jordan and Air Bud somehow had a kid and named him Patrick Williams.

More like Jordan and Diana Taurasi had a kid. Or, really if we could meld MJ and Lebron into one player.. then we would have Pat Will.

Great find.
His handles are coming along.
Also his shot mechanics looks really smooth.

Could it be Leonard Hamilton is hoping he’d return for his sophomore year much like Devin Vassell did? As a coach, I’d start him and utilized his talent regardless if he’s only a freshman.
By the way I’ve read Billy D likes him a lot, so I’m thinking he’ll play from the start.

I think Williams is still a project who will see limited playing time. I don't expect him to be a instant contributor this season. He will probably get limited minutes, and be plugged in within certain situations. "If" he plays well and is productive, He may earn more minutes as the season progresses.
I do not see him as a high usage guy in this next season. I feel he was drafted as a prospect, and will be developed. But who knows, a trade or injury may toss him into higher minute action sooner than I expect.

I do hope he earns the minutes and produces. Playing behind a solid veteran like OPJ will help with his development. The pieces are there for him to be a star, but it’s up to him to put it together.

This is the deceiving thing about college ball. His FSU tape, Williams looked like a butch Zion or Dray.
Alongside NBA players, he's got similar size and movement to Kawhi, George, Lebron, Jimmy, Brown, etc.
I like the size and speed, I just felt his handle was a bit basic. But it's hard to judge from clips like this because it's a pickup game where no one really tries hard on defense. But the video is encouraging for sure.
College is a different game for sure. some people own that game and fail in the NBA. Some people own the NBA as unearthed gems from college. I’m sure scouts identified skills he can learn, and projected him on the next level. The Bulls will prob bring him along slowly and let him do what he knows how to do and wont ask for more until he’s ready.
