If the Bears ran a screen play it might go for 2 touchdowns. But they run an unimaginative Fields sweep for nothing

Santos is clearly the best player on the team.

Keep the clock moving.

Time for our pass rush to take this game over.

Guess the identity is forming around TOP ball control defense. Familiar. Jim McMahon is back at the helm

old fashioned defense and running game bears win. raiders shot themselves in the foot with crucial penalties as well

the bears are a team that seems pretty good with a lead

Really big win seeing how the next 2 games are Packers and Bucs.

Defense today looked the best it’s been all year. Really just shut down anything the Raiders tried doing.

-Justin is a tough son of a bitch. The Raiders hit him a lot early and hard but that didn't stop him. That 3rd and 12 play in the 4th to Mooney was a tough conversion but they picked it up, got into FG range and are flying home happy. That's the second "gotta have it" moment that JF1 has come through already (first being that run in the 4th against the Bengals)

-Gibson/Mack/Quinn are a damn force - the D came in leading the NFL in sacks and this isn't a fluke. These three are all damn good at rushing the passer. If we're able to get a lead early in a game, these guys are good enough to keep it that way

-Been saying it but Herbert is a player. Williams is better than I expected but I love Herbert's vision and the way he runs with power. When Montgomery comes back, you have 3 truly legit options at RB and if our O-Line can continue to block like this and JF1 can connect when the big play is there, this is a legit offense

-Ifedi's injury looked bad. Bars can play tackle in a pinch but he's really our main interior backup, we need Borom (and Jenkins) to get healthy ASAP because injuries are going to happen

-Grant has great burst, he's gunna make a few plays in the return game this year for us

This is the toughest I've seen the Bears play in a long, long time. Between Justin and David Montgomery are tough SOBs, Roquan Smith is a bad, bad man and kudos to Nagy for making the adjustments to get this team to where they're at right now. Two weeks ago this didn't seem possible.

Nice win for the Bears. Fields looks really rough overall but made a couple big plays when needed and it's great that he's learning and developing while the team is able to get some wins.

Mack and Quinn ate having a resurgence together. A pass rush and a middle linebacker for the Bears is proven. Of it continues that means they have a chance to be above .500. But the Raiders dropped a couple passes. Secondary breakdowns still happened. But probably they are tightening up. Still liking that Bush is consistently making plays when called on. By the way, yes, Carr does take his eyes down sometimes when he feels crowded.

Fields is becoming a caretaker quarterback with upside. I think he is a responsible QB. I joked that he is Jimmy Mac, but more like Mike Tomczak. He was definitely looking to get the ball out quicker when pass rushers were coming too. That I hadn’t seen before.
