Denver just got F'd so bad by the refs. Unbelievable. Game should be over.. not in OT.

Nuggets just slammed the door shut after that heinous call on Rivers in reg. Monte Morris. Now, there's a 2nd round pick for you.

No don’t blame the bulls for not developing Payne. Did you not watch him play when he was a Bull ? He was terrible, one of the worst players I’ve seen on this team. He was so bad that no NBA team wanted him so he ended up in the G league and China.

After that I guess he got his sht together, Phoenix gave him a chance and he’s now playing well. Good for him for turning his career around but again don’t blame the bulls. Guy was not playing at an NBA level when he was here and was a huge mistake trading for him.

Dinwiddie got a lot better after leaving here too. Some of that for sure is on them. But still, I'm thinking it's not a coincidence that no young players ever develop on our watch. Feels like zero since Jimmy Butler. Well ok maybe Lavine, but that's pretty much it. The lack of developing any of our young players/draft picks is a big reason also as to why our trade asset cupboard is always bare.

One of the best performances in playoff history.

It's a damn shame Lillard will likely be one of those All time greats without a ring...

I'm seeing why Dame isn't one of the greats.

He's Hotter Than Hell, but hasn't taken a shot in the last 3 possessions. And they aren't double teaming him and forcing him to give up the ball, I don't get it.

Doubt it's got anything to do with development. It's not like Phoenix is exactly renowned for it. He was pretty good for an unheralded rookie PG at OKC but got injured.

He likely just finally got healthy after recovering from those injuries. Us keyboard jockeys really have no idea what kinds of injuries players have when they're minor enough to play, but bad enough to affect their game.

CP3 also may have a lot to do with Cam Payne’s transformation and improvement. Probably the best thing to happen in his career is getting to play alongside CP3.

CP3 has played a major role for this Suns team from being a leader to being a mentor for guys like Cam Payne showing these guys what it is like to be a professional and how to win in this league. The Bulls need a vet like him next year. Lowry or Conley Jr. would probably be the best available guys.

Maybe another early playoff exit may get him thinking about forcing a trade. Would be unbelievable to have a backcourt of him and LaVine.

Good article on Payne and the wake up call of getting bounced from the league. Paul's been good for him but Payne was busting his ass every minute in the bubble before Paul got there. Monty Williams has been good for him too, he's a coach that guys play hard for.

It would.... But we have no way of getting him if he did want a way out and from 99.9% of words out of his mouth I don't think he will leave Portland.

I don't care about the rest of the playoffs, I just want Portland v Denver to go on to the best of 15.

Of course the first game of the series I had to miss had Dame go off on an insane tear. If he somehow became a Bull, I would literally faint with delirious joy.

Sadly, that’s what he gets for being so loyal to a franchise that just can’t build a real team around him.

Maybe the Bulls can't be blamed for not developing Blakeney?

Antonio Blakeney Arrested For Home Invasion, Arranging Robbery, Aggravated Assault & Grand Theft

A professional basketball player with the NBA G League was arrested in Kissimmee early Wednesday for allegedly arranging a robbery, court records show.

Antonio Blakeney, 24, faces two charges each of of home invasion robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault alongside a grand theft charge after he was arrested at a Kissimmee home early Wednesday. In his arrest affidavit, a deputy said he invited two men over to his house to play cards and then invited another group over to rob them, records show.

Portland are kind of what Reinsdorf wishes the Bulls could be, perpetually in the play offs and in contention with a Superstar who seems like he will never leave them.
