Dennis Smith Jr asked the Knicks to send him to the G-League bubble to get playing time. Really cool and smart move by him, I don’t think many guys would make a request like that. Hope it pays off for him.

Let’s see how many get cancelled due to COVID.

Let’s see how the team holds up. You know OPJ will only be playing in half of those.

I think it will be very tough for him to make it. There are between 4 and 6 guard spots (most likely 5) and way more deserving candidates so far.

Harden, Kyrie, Brown, Trae, Beal, Holiday, Brogdon, Sexton...just to name a few.

And Zach is right there in the mix with all of them. I’m not saying he will make it. But to say that all of those guys are “way” more deserving is plain nonsense.

he said that there are way more than 4 to 6 guards deserving of all-star consideration, not that they are all way more deserving than lavine

Jimmy Butler probably won't make the All Star game because he has missed too many games, and isn't a stat collector, but man ... the Heat are 4-3 when he plays, 3-12 when he doesn't.

Dude is fun to watch. Glad he’s panning out for MJ and the Hornets. Had mixed feelings, ranging from king red flag for most the summer to changing mind to a more optimistic view if he dropped to Artunas. Aaron Brooks had that interview where he said LaMelo was actually a good quiet kid, which changed my mind a bit. Anyway, what can we say? Clearly the best talent of the draft. Not sure if he ends up the best, but so far so good for them.

Jokic is destroying Gobert right now, damn. 22 in the first.

Jokic is clearly Goberts kryptonite.

Murray vs Mitchell is essentially a wash. But for some reason Jokic has ridiculous games against Gobert. Gobert has had his share of big games as well but the matchup far favors Jokic in terms of numbers.

In a playoff I would still pick Nugs in 7.

Best second rounder ever, I should think. Of course he needs to do this for more years to compare with longtimers Manu and Rodman, but he should surpass them, health willing.

Brooklyn just choked harder than we did yesterday. Blew a 5 point like in like 6 seconds then missed a wide open game winning layup.

I really dislike the Nets trio, so I definitel laughed out loud at those announcers' baffled reactions. Glad to see Westbrook get a big game winner to fuel a bit of the always-reliable Does Westbrook Win Games debates.

If the Bulls were able to pull that off, Arturas and Marc need to have statues erected. No questions asked because that would be an absolute STEAL

We could very well be looking to trade for Beal, but there is no chance in hell that it's only going to cost us Porter - if that were to be the case, say goodbye to at least 3 first round picks in addition to Porter.

So are the Pels tanking?

Selling Redick now too.

If Griffin did get Green Cade Kuminga or Suggs they’d be sitting pretty in NOLA.

And pick swaps. The question is that would Arturas and Marc be willing to do that?

They likely thought they'd be more competitive and wanted to open up PT for younger players.
Jrue being dealt had a bigger impact than they likely realized at the time.
