Does the NBA just not give a poop about BRAND identity at all??

The uniforms are seemingly random every game. I can't watch a 10 second highlight on my phone because it takes me the entire clip to figure out who is what playing where.

The baseline ads are MORE prominent than the name or city of the team.

How the hell is a casual fan supposed to feel an identity with the team if the team has no consistent identity?

I just watch the Wizards in a gray uniform, come back from 5 down against the Nets in a blue uniform, on the blue Wizards Capital 1 court.

What. The ****. No wonder ratings are down!

Someone needs to tell Adam silver he is singlehandedly killing the league.

Ratings are up, not down.

The random uniforms suck though.

That's not a lot of shots, only two normal games worth. Either nobody shoots when guarded by Wiggins, or he hasn't been assigned very often to those guys.

LaMelo gets his first start tonight.

Bout time. They run so much better with him in the lineup. He is in now for Rozier since he is hurt, but he easily stay starting over Graham once Rozier returns.

I know he doesnt shoot well or is a bit turnover prone but he will probably be their second best player by years end.

Evan Fournier of the magic just scored 12 pts in like the first 4 min of the 1st quarter against the raptors. Looking forward to that on Friday and Saturday :\.

Fred VanVleet done lost his mind.

He is 10 for 11 from 3 midway thru the 3rd.

EDIT now 11/12 with 46 pts still in the 3rd.

Its still early, but I think Miami is legit in trouble.

We all know it was an improbable run they made in the bubble, but I think they really underestimated the Crowder effect.
Crowder basically in stretches looks absolutely amazing. Bubble Crowder was particularly good till the finals. Overall he actually isnt that good of a player but in a pinch he can look amazing. They miss that.

The Heat also lost Jones Jr which also is a blow.

The Heat played .700 ball through most of last year's regular season, before fading late, while starting Nunn, Butler, Robinson, Meyers Leonard, and Bam. That said, I agree that they miss Crowder, and that they are in legit trouble. The team really isn't that talented; they had a wonderful stretch last season where everything clicked. But they were exposed in the Finals, that squad was Butler plus role players. And that's what it largely has been this year, too.

Yep. I could see them only making the playoffs through the play in.

Butler and Bam have delivered, when they have been in the lineup. The rest of the Heat have been brutal. Every single Heat player but Butler, Bam, and the rookie Precious Achiuwa have had PERs under 14. As with the Finals, these guys have been exposed as role players whom Jimmy Butler (primarily) and Bam (secondarily) have to carry on their backs, if the Heat are to win. Goran of course can be very good but is fighting age. The other guys are just flat-out overrated.

For comparison's sake, Bulls with PERs over 14 are -

Zach
Thad
Lauri
Wendell
Gafford
Porter

Yeah, that’s basically 5 shots per player. And lol at the Wiggins Island graphic. All that stat proves is that Kerr hides Wiggins.

Damn, where is this kind of Beal love coming from? Thought Harden and Kyrie would win the fan voting easily.
