did great on the midrange shots as expected..missed just 2 shots out of many
struggled with the off the dribble step back shots..went 3-7
went 5-9 on 3pters. Release looks pretty solid

Pretty interesting how disappointed Rose looked when he missed some of those dribble step back shots. His 3's look normal now. Before, his shots were pretty flat, and I had my doubts that he could become a consistent 3pt shooter... Now I don't see why he can't become like a 35% shooter sometime in the future, since we all know how hard DRose works

Looks pretty encouraging there, but we'll have to see if that translates with Rondo's hand in his face.

Derrick has some of the prettiest misses I've ever seen. Almost all of his misses were like rim-outs lol..
- Also his mid-range jumper looks even better than last year, atleast from what I've seen in this video Rose is getting more lift under his shot and his wrist movement/arc is much better.
-His 3 point shot is gorgeous, but I think most of the 3 point shots we see him take this season will be catch-and-shoot, I'm not sure maybe he'll surprise me and pull up on a bunch of them

Lol yeah.. honestly, it was probably the most boring part of the video...
Those crossovers on the top of the 3pt line were just flat out sick.

I dont think I have ever seen Rondo put a hand in his face out by the 3 point line. Most teams leave Rose wide open outside of 17 feet.

He missed the corner 3's but those are the hardest ones IMO.

I am more worried about the attempts than pct.
I think he will be 35% 3pt shooter for sure (IMO), but the question is that will he even take 2-4 attempts a game??? FWIW, LeBron attempted about 5 3pt attempts a game last year.
I want Rose to be around 3 3pt attempts a game next year.

LOL DANG (aka Luol Deng) should be the right guy to shoot those. You would think that we would have no worries.
Unfortunately, he almost always decides to set up about 4 feet inside of that spot instead and shoots up his patented shot - the long 2.
We need to get Thibs to yell at Luol and tell him to stop taking those kind of shots, when by simply stepping back a few feet, he could take a 3 which would lead to more points for us. Basically, turn all of Deng's "long 2s" into 3s and suddenly we have a great corner shooting 3 point threat.

nah, corner 3s are the easiest. they are the closest and league wide go in at a higher rate than the other spots.
