lol some of those were hilarious, most were dumb though.

Sometimes I wonder whether this type of thread is necessary. Sure there's some entertainment value, but there are loads of things that are more entertaining than this one and hence more thread-worthy.

Well I guess it's the offseason. Hopefully things will change once off-season finally ends.

It's his fault. It took him 60 seconds to Tweet that, and 15 minutes to listen to BS responses while it would have taken him 20 seconds to just Google it.

I am still amazed how Lebron's public imaged has been devastated this off season. You almost think he had tried to ruin his reputation. I know his "inner circle" are his friends but if your running a a multi million dollar brand (which is what Lebron is) you have to have someone who knows what there doing. Maverick Carter (btw who f*cking names there son Maverick?? The mom must love Tom Cruise) is an idiot IMO and anyone with any business or PR sense should have told Lebron that "The Decision" special was a awful, terrible, insanely stupid idea. And then after the backlash he should have said "Hey Lebron, people are burning your jersey in your hometown, your not welcome in 49 states in the country, and your generally strongly disliked right now by your peers, fans, and idols. Maybe this isn't the best time to make a twitter account, or throw huge parties in Vegas, or tell everyone you keep a mental list of everyone who has supposedly wronged you. Maybe you should keep you head down a bit." Its just the mismanagement of Lebron is pretty staggeringly awful.

If Lebron decides to ever get rid of his posse (which he should) and get some people who know what there doing, I find it hard to believe anyone of those guys will get decent jobs. I just think this is just this off season is a prime example of why mega star athletes shouldn't have there boys, or friends, or "business associates" making huge decisions for them. They should get people who actually know what they're doing.

The 2nd worst decision Lebron made this summer was to join twitter.

I feel bad for his horrible decision. If he wanted to be a billionaire, I see that all flying out the window presently. I wonder how many fans will be jumping back on his bandwagon when the season begins and ESPN starts jocking the Heat?

I certainly get the point that some people are sick of LeBron, I thought it was pretty hilarious myself.

I don't think there are loads more entertaining things out there that are at least loosely connected to this forum in terms of general interest / NBA interest. It's a really dead time of the year.

These were the only ones that made me not make me want to whip my computer out of the window.

Like I wrote in another thread: LeBron's girlfriend said that LeBron figured that peoploe love him because he is LeBron. He can play anywhere & it will not matter because he will still be LeBron & still be loved.

LeBron, reportedly a very sensitive & insecure guy, would be outright shocked at the level of hate in some of these messages.

I doubt it. This guy has GOAT talent. But, in term of mentality, he isn't cut from the same cloth as MJ and Kobe. The guy is a pu$$y who would crack under pressure.

In one of his interviews, he allegedly admitted to trying out marijuana due to criticism from the media after his junior year in HS. This guy will crack under extreme hate. It wouldn't surprise me to see him going the way of TMAC and Vince Carter in a couple of years.

Maybe fans from trash cities like Cleveland. It amazes him to see the number of immigrants from realcavsfans.com to the Heat board recently. But, fans from big cities like Chicago and NYC are very knowledgeable and passionate about their teams. During this summer, he had alienated fans from two of the biggest markets in the US. At the same, he has lost a host of fans throughout the country through his bs this summer.

ESPN can jock the Heat initially. But, they will change their tune quickly when they see the fan backlash on their sorry ass network.
