I like Kirk. He brought it every night and kinda got a bum deal here (except he did get paid), being forced to play out of position after we got the unicorn. Unfortunately, he will be in exactly that situation again in DC.

I would take Kirk and Dominque Jones over Ronnie Brewer and CJ Watson

Dumping Hinrich was worth the risk.

In hindsight, I'd prefer to have him back. But so what?

If Josh Howard comes back productive, and if that giant, athletic free McGee continues to improve, you gotta like that team to make the playoffs.

Wall
Kirk or Arenas
Howard
Blatche
McGee
6th Man: Kirk or Arenas

That's pretty nasty, looks like Blatche is picking up where he left off, too.

I'm going to miss Kirk (didn't want him traded....but understood why)...
However...is was way overpaid for what he ended up providing on the court.

I would love to have a legit SG, and Kirk as our combo guard off the bench for about half of what he is making now...

I'm more pissed we lost our first round draft pick from last year . I'm glad that Kirk is gone . I never understood the hype around such a mediocre player

You suck at righteously indignant second-guessing.

I don't miss him. 8 million and you couldn't hit an open 3-pt for the life of him. He played solid defense, but that ain't worth his contract. I liked the guy, but we wouldn't have the money to sign Boozer, Deng, Rose, Noah is we had kept him, and I'd rather have those 4 players.

Kirk Hinrich makes $9M this year. That first round pick was due to make around $1.5M.

Korver makes $5M this year. Brewer makes $4.8M. Bogans makes $1.6M.

So, would you guys trade Hinrich and a mid first for Korver, Brewer and Bogans? That should be the question for this year. I don't have an answer, but I hope all three play well enough that the answer is yes. Brewer is scaring me though.

Thibodeau would have brought out the best in Kirk and he would've had a great season. i'd still rather have Korver, Brewer and Watson 11 mil than Kirk for 9. Spread the resources. Miss Kirk though.

Wiz are going to be good did you see that Wall to McGee lob? I live in dc and I effing hate the Wiz but i might change my tune. Got a ton of good storylines

With the remaining capspace, could we have had Hinrich and Korver?

If so, I'll take that. But again, it was worth the risk, sowhaddyagonnadoaboudit?

Of course I would to. I am not second guessing the move. All I'm saying is if the Three Amegos wanted to do what they did and let it be known, it would have been helpful.

I would assume complain about it for a year or two.

As stated above, it was worth the risk, but we do have a downgrade at SG, and backup point. This post is nonsense, since the Bulls could have still had Rose, Deng, Noah, Johnson, and signed the pick, Boozer, Korver, Asik, and Watson(although he may not have been), then signed Thomas, and Bogans to minimum deals. Kirk's deal would have rolled off, before Rose's contract kicked in, just like the the guys they signed instead. So they took the risk, and lost, but it had to be done.
