I really hate when games are on NBAtv. I don't get this channel. Sounds like it was a good one.

Super happy that Rudy isn't a Bull. He is a 6'6 Pargo.

This was as big of a game for Rose as the one in Detroit. He showed what type of player he would be if people made shots. 16 and 13 is awesome
Deng......... Keep playing like this and we never going to trade you

....... 40 points,

Deng rewarded my backing of him the last few days. You had to figure he wouldn’t keep blowing all those bunnies. Why I trusted him is that despite shots not falling, his mindset is still different than it was. He attacks the basket, and spots up behind the arc. I think this new mindset is bound to pay off in the long run with a better season for him.
For a guy that has little offense, Joakim Noah sure is great at facilitating it. He was a key early in establishing control of the game. His ball handling lets us break traps, and he puts pressure on the D to stop the ball, then passes when they come up to stop him. No doubt he is going to earn that contract.
JJ and Omer in with the first subs showed great awareness by Thibs. Players will respond to being rewarded so quickly like that. And trying JJ on Roy at the SG, I like Thibs thinking out of the box. Even if it’s a disaster you won’t know unless you try it.
It’s great to be able to put Noah and Omer together and actually have SIZE for the first time in years.
Really the story tonight was simply Deng and good defense. Rose and Noah doing what they do.
Negatives. I don’t really like what I’m seeing out of Taj so far this year. His energy is low and I don’t think he’s defending as well. And not rebounding. Thibs is still using Scal for too long of stretches.
Lastly, I want to highlight Thibs coaching style, hands on and active, I think it really helps with a young team like this. He keeps the intensity of the team on the floor up, and puts constant pressure with his yelling to keep them doing the right thing. Especially when our bench is on the same side as we are defending, guys cannot get lazy with him practically bum rushing the floor with his arms outstretched. I don’t know if he can keep it up for 82, but so far, he’s doing a great job.
Am I in the wrong place writing so much?
