What will it take for Bogans to be benched?

I just don't get it. The guy is absolutely horrible. I love what Thibs has done as a coach but the one thing that baffles me is the 2nd half rotations. Brewer almost always seems to bring energy in the first half and isn't found in the second half.

Bogans is not a better defender and not only can he not shoot, but he has become scared to shoot. What will it take to get him out of the starting 5? Do we have to go on a 4-5 game losing streak?

We really need to find better sgs out there. Brewer isnt a starting sg, and neither is K. Bogans.

Also, our depth sucks ball.

I really don't think our depth is bad. Our depth kept us in the first three games of the road trip. We don't beat Houston without the bench and we don't get the lead against SA without the bench. Our bench is actually extremely solid with Korver, Brewer, Asik and soon to be Taj. We just need a true starting 2, Bogans shouldn't even be in the rotation, never the less start.

Right, the way he plays is making me want JJ in instead of him, even though JJ been looking bad i rather see him than Bogans.

If he's in there tomorrow it tells me Thibs won't be putting in Brewer anytime soon. Bogans couldn't play much worse over the last several games so if there is ever a time to make a switch, it's now.

Yeah, Brewer needs to replace Bogans. And while he's not 3pt shooter, Brewer still spaces the floor, as he is really effective at moving and getting open without the ball. And with the way teams defend us, by throwing a wall at Rose, that's exactly what we need from our other players.

Brewer should start because if Bogans can't shoot, he can't do ANYTHING better than Brewer.

However, we REALLY need a SG who can legitimately space the floor and play some defense. Being able to finish on the break would be nice, too.

Basically we need a Ronnie Brewer with a surgically repaired arm.

I agree Bogans should not be starting, or playing much at all really.

No idea what it will take. Someone teased tonight that Thibs would start Brewer when healthy and then said they made it up. :banghead:

He'll get canned once Boozer gets back. I think we won't need his hypothetical offensive capabilities then with a balanced inside-outside game, and Brewer can come in and be useful.

It's going to take Rose going to Coach Thibs saying..........

"Yo coach thibs, you know that guy who keeps missing all those open shots, GHTFO."
or
Korver- "Hey coach thibs, you know I can shoot right"
or
Brewer- "He shoot just as good as me right now"

But was purely ineffective during those minutes. Missing shots that we could've used.

Just about as much as Larry Hughes is.
