Boozer does not compete

He is terrible. He bad on defense because he is LAZY. BOOZER is a lazy sack of crap. He does not fight on defense. He has no second effort. Defense is more about determination then speed. Boozer is really a lazy player. He never steps out on screens and whines to the refs all the time.

Quick scouting report you lazy sack.

McRoberts plays like Taj

Tyler is a shooter. You got to compete you lazy piece of crap.

Foster is a screener. You can cheat off him. Just block off the boards

Only player on the roster that doesn't give legitimate effort defensively. Does not hustle, makes mind numbingly dumb plays on the floor, hands of rocks, just frustrating.

WILL HE PICK IT UP? I've been asking this for it seems 3 months now. Is this the real Boozer?

Can we get over this? How many different threads do we need on this topic? Yes, he did play poorly in this game. That's what the post-game thread is for. He's played fantastic ball in the post season in every other year he's been in them. Let's just hope he returns to that form in the remaining playoff games. There is no sense making reactionary threads one game into the playoffs.

No he is soft. He has been soft his entire career.

The real Boozer stood up today and his soft-azz defense was exposed. Good luck getting very far with him at your 4.

He played terrible today. He really didn't bring it on either end. Regardless, we will need Boozer to step it up if we want to compete with the contenders.

I am talking about rotating and defending. He try to take breaks on D. He needs to man up.

Boozer needs to exert his will more on the block. Stop settling for those weak jumpers. This is the playoffs. You can tell he is strong enough to bully people when he really wants. He just doesn't.

We can get Taj in there just to shoot jumpers.

Thibs needs to call more PnR with Rose and Boozer though, he's more comfortable rolling to the hoop, and also passes well from the high post.

His defense is god awful though, I'm not sure how we've hid him this well so far, but teams are going to key in on him in the playoffs and we are going to have to help and recover.

I can't take a whole series of watching Hansborough knock down 5 or more of those lazy open jumpers every game.

Officials have been calling offensive fouls on Boozer whenever he tried backing his man down the past few games. Like you said, the Bulls need more PnR plays with Rose and Boozer.

Boozer got his butt kicked on both ends. Tyler kicked Boozer butt. Boozer still has not given a legit effort on D.

"soft" is the most meaningless term in basketball. Just say he isn't a good defender, and doesn't give maximum effort on that end. Be done with it. Don't make up reasons to criticize and stereotype a player based on bias.

We've been talking about this all season. It's not a revelation. Why is there not an accompanying Noah thread as well?

I'm sorry but doesn't bad defense and not maximum effort equal soft? Does in my book.

How about Noah hacking Hibbert with no time left on the shot clock.
