Since Miami and Boston both look to advance...who do you prefer to play if we make it to the ECF?

I think we can beat either if we're on top of our game, but I'd say Boston. Shaq's health is still up in the air and I think we match up better with them anyway. Thoughts?

give me miami. nothing will be better then sending lebron, wade and bosh packing.

Boston. Any series in which Rose is the best player on the floor, i'll take that. Plus Thibodeau knows that team's tendencies inside out.

Miami has 2 really difficult players to guard but at the end of games they fade and we grow stronger. So I would rather play miami.

Boston when healthy and clicking is still the best team in the East.

Honestly, to me, it doesn't matter. You play whoever's good enough to advance, kick their ass and move on. Whether it be Boston or Miami, oh well. We haven't made it past Indiana yet and you guys want to talk about two rounds later? We can be trounced by Atlanta or Orlando in the next round very easily to you know.

I guess for most, it depends on two things though. One, who you feel the best team is, and two, do you want to go through the best team. I feel Miami is still the best team and are built for the playoffs. I, personally, want to go through them since I feel they are the best.

Either one.

EDIT: But I want to bounce D-Wade, Bosh Spice, and LeBron more than anything in the world.

I will take Atlanta if we beat the Pacers.

I want to get past the Pacers and then the Hawks or Magic first. If we do, then I would like to beat the Heat.

I prefer this team get past the Pacers first....
After that....get past the 2nd round.

Let's do that before we talk about who "we" want to play in the ECF's (Remember..."we" are not the ones on the court..."we" are on the internet).

Whether we (as fans) talk about it or not has no effect on the team's play. If you don't like talking about it, don't post in the thread. It's just a hypothetical. Thanks.

I want Boston .... I want pay back from a few years ago .... and I want to beat the best (Boston in my book is still a little better then the Heat). So bring on the Celtics!

But first we have to close out Indy at home. Then we have a hard fought series in either Atlana or Orlando. So lets take care of that first.

I prefer Miami, while getting revenge on Boston would be sweet, they execute extremely well down the stretch. Miami on the otherhand.. like today for example, you know the plays they'll try to run, and if you compare Lebron vs Rose down the stretch, I know where I put my money. Now if they go to Wade, that's another story, but I have a feeling they'll stick with Lebron, or more like, Lebron will make sure they stick with Lebron.

Tho, Wade would be a tough matchup, if Brewer is still not 100%

We would have more difficulty in a 7 game series against Boston's toughness than Miami's athleticism. Celtics will wear you down in a 2 week series

Boston because if they beat us they will beat us fair and square while with Miami it can be because they get all the calls for Lebron and Wade.

You should worry about getting past ATL or ORL first, who both have much more playoff experience than you and just as much talent, if not more. Even though your up 3-1, you havent played very good, if that was ORL/ATL you were playing you would be swept right now playing like that, as they would've closed those games out with wins in the first 3. So just sayin idk how you can talk about the ECF when you're struggling to beat an 8th seed.
