I believe she needs to begin strangling refs in addition to fans.

Whether there's any truth to this latest rumor is questionable. But Paige worked (or works) in Denver so he might have some connections with JR.

b.t.w. The three other reporters pretty much laughed at Woody thinking Smith would be a difference maker for the Bulls (not that these guys really have much Bulls basketball knowledge).

Is it unprecedented to blow up a team with one of the league's best records?

I'm just imagining, for the sake of argument, adding both J.R. Smith and Dwight Howard while losing Noah and Deng.

This team would just look radically difficult. We'd be a lot less likeable, that's for sure.

Brew's alright, it's useful to have a defensive 2/3 coming off the bench. We should be upgrading on Korver though.

Sounds good to me, maybe we can get him to play some real defense.

As Krause figured 15 years ago when signing Rodman, although Rodman was a different kind of knucklehead than Smith.

I would doubt they are having conversations, but the FO does tend to do their due diligence. If they are talking, I would assume it would be at the same level of interest as last season, that is as long a contract would expire at seasons end, so that if he has not changed, they could just sit him, and let him walk. Since they spend the MLE, and are over the cap, they are limited on what they can offer, so if he were coming to the Bulls, he would not want a longer contract either. There is just too much money other places for that to make sense to Smith, but I guess it does not hurt to ask.

JR I could see because of the whole Denver thing. Dwight I have no idea.

If this is true, and JR would really take the minimum, that's about as good as it gets.

Not because it's JR Smith but because it's a talented guard for cheap.

Bulls would have all the leverage. Our current squad would be intact, and due to injuries, there would be minutes. Who those minutes went to, wouldn't matter.

Point being, if JR Smith acts out, who cares? He'd be signing for nothing. Even if he is a saint, we still don't have to play him. We have injured players who will be back.

I think to be against JR Smith signing with the Bulls (for peanuts!) would be talking $#@! about a pretty sunset.

Rip has gotten injured a ton in the previous 2 season and so far this season. I would love JR coming here after he's done with his CIA gig overseas.

He's not a bad 3pt shooter. Not great. He is the very definition of a streak shooter but finds ways to score if his shots not falling because he's so athletically gifted with his ability to attack the basket.
