KYLE LOWRY WANTS OUT (trade to Bulls?)

Kyle Lowry believes he and Kevin McHale can no longer coexist.
Lowry underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia and torn abductor muscles three weeks ago and briefly returned to the Toyota Center on Friday.
“I don’t think so,” Lowry said about whether he and McHale can continue. “I honestly think it would be tough. Things have to be addressed. The situation would have to be addressed.
“If things aren’t addressed coaching-wise, I guess I have to be moved.”
McHale believed he worked well with Lowry.
“That’s very surprising,” McHale said. “I didn’t think we had too much of a problem coexisting this year. Everybody has a little beef every once in a while. I didn’t feel like (there were problems). He apparently did.
“There were times that we didn’t agree on things. There were times that I got on him. I don’t think it was unduly harsh on anybody.”
Daryl Morey believes the relationship can be salvaged.
“I think Kyle and coach McHale are both winners and both competitive guys,” Morey said. “I don’t anticipate any issues going forward.”

as for the article.... wonder what the beef with mchale could be. mchale always seemed nice but i thought he was kinda cheesy and like set in a certain way of thinking. anyone ever heard anything bad about him?

I don't think the Bulls are going to waste resources to trade for an eventual backup PG that will want to be a starter. And how the hell are they going to get a near all-star quality PG and very good offensive SG (with no defense) for 3 bench players with unguaranteed contacts and a 36 year old SG? Maybe if they were going bankrupt and they were selling off players.

the rockets save money this way, and have rip to back up courtney lee. and watson to back up dragic. they want money to get a true big man and these guys are trading chips if nothing else.
is lowry wants out and the rockets want to get rid of him, this could make it happen. though we may have to send asik instead of korver to get martin. either way, lowry would start all next year and he only has one year on the contract after that. backing up rose and if rose is willing to play a little 2, lowry can still play 20 min a game. him and martin keep us relevant next year.

hes only on a 2 year contract. he can yield something good if derrick is at 100% in 13/14. or just play out a contract year and we let him walk and have cap space.

What makes you think they will give up a very good point guard and a guy who can put up 20 points on every night for that trash you just offer? They can get a whole lot more.

Where is Grant Hill and all of those other guys coming from? All of those other additions are just unnecessary to me. Try to do a small deal for Lowry and Lee, if not then move on.

i do? what other trade have i purposed? what the hell are you talking about? the ONLY other trade on here ive proposed was to see if the bulls could conceivably get al horford. which was a real trade idea.

why do people post on here who dont seem to follow anything...
1- martin has repeatedly been said to be able to be had and has fallen out of favor there
2- lowry obviously doesnt want to be there
3- the bulls have capspace to offer them, with no long term contract or the option to keep back ups for guys that can fill in for those leaving (dragic, lee)
4- is it really trash if the bulls can help them get pau?
this is ONE scenario that i put out there that could help the rockets get some flexibility, if they want it we can offer it. you know like some teams want talented bigs, we can offer that, or some teams want draft pics, and the nets were trying to stockpile though, or some teams want youth, so the kings can offer that? smh.

HEY COOL THANKS FOR YOUR OPINION. the thread is about lowry wanting out. i posted an article or link. this isnt a trade thread. this was just my reaction that maybe he can be had. smh.

they are unnecessary to you? cause the nba doesnt think so, thats why they have a minimum amount of players for a team. i listed 3 vet min guys. i proposed a small deal for lowry and a houston SG but if you want to put lee in there fine. i dont get what your issue with it is. you do know that tmac, kirk and hill dont play for the rockets right?

No chance the Bulls mortgage their pieces away for a guy that's not going to start when Rose comes back. Nice player, but not for us. Someone like the Lakers will go after him. They actually need a full time PG.
