Asik signs it on July 11. Buuls have from July 11 - July 14 to Match

As a restricted free agent, the Bulls will have three days to match Asik offer sheet after it's signed on July 11th.

Should be back loaded for you guys with third year salary of 15 million.

Match him? Since it's 3 years instead of 4, we could use him as a massive expiring deal in that final year. Just a thought.

All Omer can do now is agree to a verbal contract, he can not sign until July 11th, from there the Bulls would have 3 days to match. The Good news on him agreeing so early is that the Bulls can work a S&T with the Rockets before he signs the offer sheet.

Thanks I remember that coming up and couldn't recall what they decided. In the old days, since Asik hasn't actually signed the offer yet, they'd have over a week to work out a trade.
