Goals for the offseason:

Upgrade Van der Sloot
Keep everyone healthy
Stop Prince from signing Russian contract that runs a month into the WNBA season.

They need a second star/second ball handler...somebody like Melo  GarPax need to turn over all their research material on second ball handler to the SKY GM.

They have a second star. Sylvia Fowles is a 3 time all-star and 2 time defensive player of the year. Problem is she plays the same position as Griner. Think of it this way Clyde Drexler might of been the 2nd best guard in the NBA in his prime. Problem was Jordan was the clear #1. In the 1992 playoffs Drexler averaged 26 points on .466 shooting. In the Finals against Jordan he averaged 24 points on .406 shooting. Fowlers might be the 2nd best center in the league. Problem is she is going against the clear #1 center is Griner.

Well this series isnt over yet. Sylvia fowles is the star right now. EDD is injured. The sky could really use her but she has been dealing with injuries all year.
Yeah prince is usually a nice 3rd option but she has been struggling.

They have the 5th pick in draft, Could be interesting to scout their draft.

Elena Delle Donne is clearly the Sky's best player.

She just hasn't had enough playing time. If you're calling Fowles the sky's best player, you might as well call Joakim Noah the Bulls' best player.

Joakim noah was clearly the bulls best player last year. Its roughtly the same situation except that EDD is not inactive.
EDD at 40-50% isnt hardly the skys best player. At points she is still a staunch defender but right now its sylvias team and whatever they get from EDD is gravy. She is just hurt right now , and surprisingly went further than when they were healthy last year.

It's just like Rose Noah. One is a way better player... When healthy. And if not healthy they don't stand a chance. Like Noah, Fowles is getting bested by her superior matchup and Rose/EDD wouldn't let that happen.

I would hardly call nene superior. He outplayed noah in the series but there could be outlying factors involved ex. Superior guard play to open things up for him. Whatever i can sit here all day and make excuses while the bulls were starting their second best PF in the series.
If either Fowles or EDD is hurt they likely stand little chance. There is little argument that EDD is the skys best player when healthy, but that just isnt the case right now. Its fowles right now and they arent in this series without her. Please give her her credit.

I don't ever remember Dupree playing this well on the Sky. She's determined to kill her old team.
