Sure, the Bulls vs. Nets match up isn't all that exciting, but there are a whole crap load of exciting match ups in the first round.

Thunder vs. Rockets (Harden vs his old team)

Spurs vs. Lakers (Old school match up of the old titans of the league)

Nuggets vs. Warriors (Most likely the most exciting match up of the first series)

Clippers vs. Grizz (They had one of the more entertaining playoff series recently)

Knicks vs. Celtics (Again, another old school match up)

The rest of the match ups, well... meh. I can't wait for the playoffs, Go Bulls!!
Why so serious?

Can we split this thread into East and West?
On the Crawford/Rose bandwagon in 2002... 2009, 2011, 2012, 2017... Finally in 2018! 16 year wait!

(3) Indiana vs. (6) Atlanta
Game 1 - Sun April 21, Atlanta at Indiana, 1 p.m., TNT
Game 2 - Wed April 24, Atlanta at Indiana, 7:30 p.m., NBA TV
Game 3 - Sat April 27, Indiana at Atlanta, 7 p.m., ESPN
Game 4 - Mon April 29, Indiana at Atlanta, TBD, TBD
Game 5 * Wed May 1, Atlanta at Indiana, TBD, TBD
Game 6 * Fri May 3, Indiana at Atlanta, TBD, TBD
Game 7 * Sun May 5, Atlanta at Indiana, TBD, TBD

I'm expecting some of those "TBDs" to eventually become "NBA TV"

Still rooting for wins, but losses aren't the worst thing in the world. Perhaps the optimal strategy is hoping the Blackhawks are on at the same time.

yip, the west will be really really fun to watch, where the east will be a little disappointing I expect, but maybe, just maybe the east will make it interesting, they sure did last year...

Yep, looking forward to all those matchups. I didn't watch much last year after Rose's injury, so I'm more than ready for some NBA playoffs.

same here, completely lost interest, didn't start watching again until the Mia/Boston series, just to see "those guys" lose, didn't pan out.

Shame the Clips & Memphis play in the 1st round, both are top WC teams IMO after OKC.

I was just thinking, maybe the Pacers fans and Hawks fans can get together and fill up one stadium. It's unreasonable to expect each teams fans to fill it up individually. :P

Thunder / Rockets series could produce some 3pt shooting records.

I hope Boston beats up the Knicks a little, even though I don't think they can win.

They might as well cancel the Heat series, this isnt the same fiesty Bucks team from past year that kind of had the Heat's number. I guess BJ or Monta could go off for like 10 3pters and steal one game, but hard to see.

I see Pacers as perhaps overrated and Hawks giving them a long series.

My 1st round predictions:

Thunder in 5 - Harden might win the Rockets one game but the Thunder are too good.
Spurs in 7 - Spurs are struggling right now but will get it together in the first round.
Nuggets in 6 - Warriors will look surprisingly good, but won't overcome Denver's HCA.
Grizzlies in 7 - Grizzlies' tough defense will wear down the Clippers.

Heat in 4 - no explanation necessary
Knicks in 5 - Celtics will miss Rondo.
Pacers in 6 - Hawks will alternate looking great and looking like crap, Pacers will win an ugly series.
Bulls in 6 - 8-)

EAST

Heat in 4, though an upset by the Bucks might be the greatest storyline in sports through the next decade.

Celtics in 7 or less. The Knicks have to actually win playoff games before they can win a series. That's how that works last time I checked.

Pacers in who really cares, nobody is going to watch this one.

Nets in 5 regardless of the Rose situation. Noah might be unavailable through the first round? Then there isn't a second round for the Bulls.

WEST

OKC in 6. Houston will have a magical night or two at home, but that's it.

Lakers in 7. Whistles for days, and San Antonio is too banged up to matter this season anyway.

Nuggets in 6, pending Faried's availability.

Grizzlies in 7, this one should be highly entertaining.

Completely on the same page for the east, i'll add that the pacers win in five or six.
In the west i see OKC gong in 4, 5 at most. The other three are impredictable and could all go to last game. I root for the clippers to lose.

Man, could you imagine how good life would be if the Bucks beat the Heat?

Its not happening, but god damn, that would make me moist.
