Looks like all those people who had hope he would return are starting to let it sink and getting pissed off in the process.

Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Like I said, I love Derrick and will still support him when he comes back next year, but I didn't agree with a lot of his decisions, and refused to put him over the Bulls franchise. He is a Bull, not the other way around.

So, Derrick can't play like a shooter who can take a dribble or two and play some good defense like another person who got injured on the same day(Shumpert).

I wish the Bulls, and especially Rose, would just be up front with everything. Even if the Bulls privately knew that Rose was sitting out the entire season, it made sense for them from a business perspective to string everyone along about his "possible" return - maintain ticket sales, TV ratings, etc. And I got the feeling that Rose was stringing everyone along because he didn't want to look bad for deciding to sit out the whole season.

- February 12: Rose suggests he's "far, far" away from returning in USA Today interview
- February 14: In Boston, Rose says he "wouldn't mind" missing the season, says he needs to be able to "dunk off stride" before he comes back
- February 22: Reggie Rose puts the organization on blast
- March 7: Cryptic tweets from Rose about "having a bad day" and his family "having his back"
- March 9: ESPN Chicago reports Rose cleared to play
- March 21: Rose says "only God knows" when he will play
- April 7: Rose "open to returning," "wouldn't mind playing limited minutes." Also throws down a tomahawk dunk off his left leg, for good measure.
- April 20: Rose "doubtful" for playoffs

If you don't think there's something going on here, you're probably trying to bury your head in the sand.

Nice recap here. But what would you say is going on? Something wrong with the organization or what?

Rose team felt its not worth him coming back in there mind with a team that don't have a chance to win with the people they have at this moment and Rose is gonna listen to them because Rose is still a man child

I'm not really all that upset about the decision, but I am upset at the way this has been handled. Why can't Derrick speak to the media? I don't think people would be nearly as mad at him if he would just speak to the fans honestly and not hide behind Thibs. Also, the way they have been stringing the fans along from game to game has been downright cruel.

Thats what KILLS me the most about this IF this was anyone else Lebron Dwight etc every person would want there head on a silver platter and this would be a non stop story on sportscenter...and im honestly hoping someone on the team or organization comes out and puts rose on blast

A supposedly healthy drose sits the playoffs and will get a pass from the media.

What a shock. The Bulls and Rose move the goalposts all year and at the end said he could return to play in the playoffs. Then once the season is over, well he can't in the playoffs because he hasn't played all year. They are all full of ****.
