And we lose?
Without the ability to neutralize Deron in the paint, this is a losing series for us. Kirk gives us that. Even yesterday, a lot of Deron's points were from perimeter shots.
And there were no handoffs in the paintt either from penetration. All of this is Kirk.

I think Jimmy has to play defense on Deron if Kirk is out. We might see a lot of minutes at PG/set-up guard for Belinelli because of his size to run the sets. Obviously, you will see a lot of Boozer on offense. I think the Bulls can survive this game against a emotionally drained Nets without Hinrich. Hinrich better be ready for the Heat.

Kirk is old school, and that's the reason why I've loved him since he was drafted by the Bulls. He will play even if he is at 50%. I have no doubts he will play unless something is broken or torn.

I need to look this up. What is the injury?
Hinrich has been the MVP of this series so far. He's critical to what we're doing with New Jersey.
EDIT:
His extensive workload came on a left calf muscle sore enough that he needed a postgame MRI. Results weren't immediately available, but Hinrich said the injury "is pretty bad."
No, no, no, no, no, no. Please no.

This is an injury he's been battling all series long. He's probably fine, and they're just checking it as a precaution. The guy did play 60 minutes.
We'll find out soon enough I guess.

I hope Kirky-poo's fine. Just another adversity that we have to fight through, what else is new?

I never said it would be a winning formula.
Just my guess at Thib's rotations.

To look on the bright side: Remember how Noah didn't even think he'd be able to play this series?
Fingers crossed for some good news later today...

At one point during OT (not sure which one) I remember seeing him hobbling around like an old man. I'd hoped nothing was wrong, but no such luck.

We're up 3-1 give the kid a chance. He's a pretty good defender. Let's see what happens. If Deron or Watson eat him up then take him out.

Co-MVP. Boozer has been absolutely fantastic.

Bingo. If we're up 25, then we can talk about Marquis.
