Marv, on the other hand, is happily wearing his '89 toupee that he got hand-me-down from Howard Cosell.

I've always liked Mike Fratello. A very solid commentator.

His new teeth and hair make him look like a completely different person.

When you're magnificent, you don't care who knows it.

Was blasted at Gibsons Steakhouse downtown once after the Bulls game, bartender is a buddy of mine and usually introduces me to a bunch of the NBA guys that he knows (espnradio calls him the personal bartender of the nba, place is always crowded with celebs).

So, one night after a Bulls game Fratello worked he yelled over to Mike to introduce me to him. Mike comes up and shakes my hand and i just look at him all disgruntled and remark who the **** are you?!

Normally I enjoy a drink or two but I was pretty blasted at that point. Fun times.. Now if I'm in Gibsons and Fratello and the broadcasters come on the screen the bartender and the regulars in there all yell at me and ask whose that? LOL

Well thats my Mike Fratello story.

The Czar of the Telestrator and Hubie Brown are in an elite league of their own.

But Doug Collins and Matt Guokas are close behind at their heels.

I love Doug Collins. A lot of people can't seem to stand him for some reason. Guess it's the voice, but don't know why that's a big deal at all.

Agreed.

Its no coincidence that a lot of past coaches have made great analysts.

The networks need to realise this quick smart rather than hiring bald superstars like Shaq and Miller.
