KCP and Bullock could contribute. KCP more so than Bullock. Crabbe, on the other hand, will not, especially in Chicago, and it has nothing to do with his shot. Crabbe does not play defense. No effort, no interest, no experience, no defense. Crabbe wouldn't sniff the floor under Thibs for quite some time.

Hardaway would contribute from the start. Ledo would as well, at the very least as a shooter coming off screens and running around the way we saw Korver and Rip used. The difference between Ledo and Crabbe in this regard is that Crabbe is proven to not do defense.

If Crabbe is hitting shots, Thibs would find minutes for him regardless of his defense. He's 6'6, 6'11 wingspan and it would be strange if is shooting didn't translate. He's automatic.

He just doesn't do much else.

Karazev could contribute out of the gate as well too. His shooting is real, areas of his game would need to improve to be a bigger impact player but he could play as a floor spacer from day one.

How about Rice jr as minute ready.
He has experience and success playing an nba style.
Also shooting 43% from nba 3 as a starter.

His season average 37% from nba 3 is more impressive than the other 'shooters' with the same percentage or worse from college 3.

I like Rice in the 2nd round as a shooter and his experience in the D league.

Word is that the Bulls had a private workout for Tony Snell (6-7, 6-11.5 wingspan, 39% 3P, 84% FT)

He is in the same mold as Crabbe (questionable defense / toughness), so it appears clear that Gar/Pax are not going to rule out a player that has the right tools but needs to be indoctrinated into Thibs' system.

I'd like KCP or Dieng. IF neither of them are available, I guess take a flyer on Tony Mitchell.

Where did you hear about this private workout?

Snell is intriguing because he has the defensive potential, can really shoot plus has a good handle.

FWIW I remember hearing about bringing Gibson in twice. When you bring a player in twice, that could very well mean something.

I wont lose any sleep if we miss out on Snell, Hardaway, Crabbe.
If we pass on Plumlee or Olynyk and they get to the knicks, we could be in trouble cuz they need a Pf.

To be fair, Teague was never supposed to be in our range. We didn't talk to him the same way we haven't talked to a guy like Shane Larkin.

All I said was it could mean something. With Teague he wasn't suppose to be in that range or working out with teams in our range.

Karasev should be a non option. His combined fg % for 2012-13 is under 40%.
