Even if a deal doesn't happen. Sticking with this team for one more year won't be a bad thing. Unless they fail again, and Deng walks after the season. Which would be worst case scenario.

yes it will we know Boozer and Deng aren't likely long term guys here so why feel the need to hold on to team?

I'm fine with Aldridge as long as Noah is kept, he is definitely an upgrade over Boozer. But honestly, the more pressing need in my opinion is a high scoring 2 guard or SF. Butler and Deng are nearly the same type of player, though Deng is better. Its redundant to have them in the lineup playing together. Eric Gordon & Hardaway Jr, plus resigning Robinson might be a better way to go.

I dont wanna trade just to do so but god I wish we can bring LA in without giving up JoNo. May the basketball gawds let us be prosperous

Is this some kind of sick joke? Who are they sending to Brooklyn? Certainly they dont want Joe Johnson, and The Nets are not trading Dwill or Brook.

I know this is kind of unrealistic given salary....I dont see how Brooklyn can make a move for both of them

yeah i was thinking the same thing. first of all the russian billionaire prokorov (sp?) can pay for anything. it's really a matter of whether the cap rules will allow the nets to do this, not so much how much he is willing to pay salary tax wise. the nets are deep as **** already, they have pieces to move.

Yeah, is this an argument against Aldridge? We've been looking for a Robin! We've got a Batman. And Donkey Kong. And an evil genius head coach. And The Butler! We're in such good shape to bring in a Robin.
