I'm ok with signing him but I think I would rather have Jenkins.

He's a good shooter, can score off the bounce, knows how to separate himself from defenders and is a willing passer when the shot is not there.

I'd take him, absolutely.

I want him on the team because I think he'll end up being one of the nice finds in the league like Green, Neal, Barrera, etc.

The thing about aging vets is they are just that, aging. I want someone who may be able to grow with the team going forward. In 2014 Kirk is probably gone and I could see Teague and Goudelock helping us out in 2014 and cheap. I'd actually offer him a 2 year deal with year 2 non guaranteed.

It's why even though Daye isn't a bulky/stronger than Harrington and Jamison, give me the younger guy who could grow with us.

Alan Anderson, Beno, Nate, cj miles,Gary Neal, Tmac, Barbosa are all still available. Most of them have playoff experience too.

If you can't get any of them, then ill take Goudelock

Bulls need playoff tested players we can trust in the playoffs, especially if we think we have a shot at the title this year.

ECF GAME 6 - who do you feel more comfortable with? Andrew Goudelock or Gary Neal? Nate? Miles? Barbosa?

I would take the vet...plus we already have Teague, snell an maybe even Murphy, all of them may barely even play this year.

We have no shot at Gary Neal, Nate has better suitors. Besides them I'm taking Goudelock over the rest of those guys.

Besides Neal and Nate, none of those guys are creators and if we do add another guard it should be a guy who can get their own shot. Neal and Nate are priced out and if Neal did take the veteran Minimum, he'll just stay in SA.

He has a pretty nice all around scoring game and he didn't do too shabby when he got forced to start those last 2 games for LA last year. I think his scoring definitely translates, the problem is he isn't a good defender and he has much less PG skills than Nate or even JL3. I could see him working in certain lineups alongside Kirk though as Kirk can guard the better scorer.

Beno creates for himself an others, Alan Anderson creates for himself, he was the bench scorer for Toronto this year.

His crossover nice, but the handles are very suspect. But he better than Cook and could actually be useful here. Not saying he'll see the floor much but it he could surprise and beat out someone in practice.

Sign him

Let him practice with the bulls and get better as the season goes along, pretty much treat him like a draft pick.
Work on his defense and his shot selection and only play him if someone gets injured

come next year, you just might have your replacement to Kirk. Hes worth the investment

Neal is well out of our price range, so he's not even a consideration.
Miles and Nate are the only other two worth a salt that i would rather have over Goudelock.

if you sign Goudelock....you may have 4-5 guys that might barely play for you

Snell, Teague, Murph, Goudelock, Nazr

The Bulls have supposedly talked to some FA guards so is Teague even in the picture this year? Maybe, maybe not? Murph may not even make the team but if he does, he wont play much imo, Bulls really don't want to give Nazr big minutes and Goudelock probably falls into the same boat. Plus hes only 6'3. Snell should play a little this year, but I don't expect a lot.

Not to mention, the Bulls are one of the most injury prone teams in the league. IMO we need guys that we can trust to step up and play at anytime. I'm not sure young an inexperienced is the way to go.
