Houston Coming after Dunleavy, Bulls unwilling to move him

Sam Amick just tweeted that Houston really wants Dunleavy, Bulls are currently unwilling to move him. I cant access twitter at work so I can post the tweet to this thread. If someone else can I would appreciate it....

Love to work out a deal that results in the Bulls acquiring Terrence Jones or a 1st rd pick.

Ronnie Brewer and Terrence Jones for Dunleavy works and even saves the Bulls a little bit of space and gives them a 13th player on the roster for the year.

Lmao if the Bulls would turn down a T Jones for Dunleavy deal.

If it is Morey...you gotta be careful. He probably wants the Bulls to give Houston the Cat's pick for unloading MDJ.

The Rockets aren't going to give up T Jones for Dunleavy. Likely Bulls are unwilling to move him because the offers have been crap - and he's more valuable to the Bulls than anything they could get for him.

Keeping Dunleavy means something but I don't know quite what it is.

Follow up tweet from Sam Amick: Rockets one of many teams wanting Dunleavy, but Bulls value him. Chicago has nothing in the works elsewhere yet, either, I'm told."

You never know, sounds like a lot of teams are in on Dunleavy which could create a bidding war.

They wouldn't, but Morey wouldn't be dumb enough to offer that.

Means people are trying to lowball the Bulls even though they are in a pretty good position and have the leverage.

Yeah the Bulls value him - they've got him for two years on a great deal.

Kirk can go for magic beans, expiring scrub and a 2nd--Dun should net a first and/or project/prospect.

Terrence Jones being involved in this is a long, long shot. Likely Francisco Garcia and a pick or something. I'm not too concerned with not pulling the trigger on whatever hot garbage they threw at us. Dunleavy still could prove valuable to a winning team depending what we have going next year.

I'd like to hear what Houston is offering before I cast aspersions on the front office for not moving Dunleavy.

cast aspersions first, ask questions later. that's the way things work around here

Id give up a pick for T Jones. But the deal would be something like:

Bulls: Okafor, T Jones, Brewer
Suns: Boozer
Rockets:Dunleavy, Bulls lotto protected 1st

Morey will get MDJ for the NBA's first ever trade in which a player is traded for a undrafted pick lol.

Move Dun, idk why you wouldn't(just not with Houston).

because he's on a good contract and we have to field a team next season?

He's not going to be much help next season, he's aging & his play isn't as great as Marco who is a FA this off season I believe.

marco is signed next season and not as good as dunleavy. that's why we chose dunleavy in the first place
