With Love looking to exit, there’s your No. 1 reason the T-wolves have not been able to find a head coach to take over for Rick Adelman. Love wants to play for the Lakers but he’s also open to coming to the Knicks

Lakers, no surprise there, Knicks, really? The Knicks suck.
I guess if he did end up going there it would probably persuade Melo to stay, but what have the Knicks got to offer the T-Wolves? Nothing.
I wonder if Love prefers those clubs over us or we're just not in his picture right now as a possible destination.

Considering it's a NY paper, I'm not surprised that the writer threw the Knicks in the mix. Also, not surprised he didn't mention any other team that are likely in the mix. If anything, the only fire that it adds fuel to is Love to LA.

I've been thinking about this a bit, is there any conceivable way we land Love and Melo? It would take an absolute miracle I know, but there is a part of me that desperately wants to believe there is a non-zero chance of this happening.

would melo wait an extra year for the chance to play w/ love? They still have cr*p talent and no picks...LA I could see. But NYK? Ugh

Derrick Rose/Love/Melo, none of them can defend worth a crap and no cap space for basically anybody else

We should spew out rumors that we're pursuing Love as well and put pressure on Melo. Kinda like in a "limited time offer only!" way.
Or it could totally back fire and put off one, if not both parties.

They offer Melo the full $130 million max contract, he'll gladly wait.

im pretty sure Love would be interested in coming to Chicago....hes good friends with Rose and has spoke highly of our culture
Mitch Lawrence not adding us in the equation is not surprising....he has it out for the Bulls

Hmm... Would love to land Love. Wonder if we could swing a deal or if they find someway to ask for the moon from us and just him away to another team.

Derrick's a very good defender, much improved from his first couple seasons. Love and Melo not so much, although Melo has stepped up on occasion when motivated, but definitely not a consistent defender.

how r they redundant? get melo and love to stay on the wings, jimmy in the corner, noah down low to grab o boards (i think we would find a way to keep him lol) and rose attacking the lane. spacing at its finest

I don't like the idea of giving Melo a reason to stay with the Knicks, and we should also be on Kevin Love's list
