Love jo but at first glance I think its a good trade for the bulls.

I think this would open cap room also.
so the way this could work is:
Rose
Butler
J.Parker
Taj
Gasol

That's not what Chad Ford said. Someone asked would they trade it and Ford listed players of a certain caliber who he felt (based on no inside information) would fit the criteria. Cleveland isn't considering anything.

I think they would riot outside of Cleveland worse than the decision if this happens.

It's speculation.

If we really want to have a thread on it, it can be a short thread. Because superstars win titles, and this draft has a few shots at that. And they are bargain contracts if they pan out the first few years too.

Noah we all love, but Noah does stuff you can replace. Noah does stuff that is a perfect fit here, but on an elite team he doesnt do nearly as much as he has to on this current (near-)mediocre one. And you can ignore him as a defense and live with the effects of his paint clogging. More than live with it.

And yes 48 wins can be near-mediocre because the East is a joke. Shutting down the east defensively night in night out is not special. It's a great defense but not overwhelmingly so, considering how they get to feast on bad teams. Plus the playoffs are what matter and teams playing their best five a ton (as we saw) can take advantage of the Bulls dependence on defense.

Think the keyword here is "could". Anything could happen but it's just speculation on Chad Ford's part.

You're either going to get people who hate or love this idea. No in the middle. Longterm people would love it. Shortterm would hate it. This is of course if the Cavs even considered it which we all know in the end these teams usually just hold onto their picks.

Come onnn there's no reason for this. As someone pointed out as soon as someone noticed this in another thread, this came from Chad Ford's chat yesterday and he was merely saying that IF the Cavs looked to trade the pick, it would be for a player of the Aldridge, Love, Noah caliber. We'd never trade Jo, and Cleveland likely won't look to trade it. Why would they?

No point in doing this to ourselves.
