Yea I don't think he's coming. I've lowered my expectations so I wont be disappointed if and when he goes back to NY.

I think its been established that 99% think he's not coming. But I bet this thread will still hit 100 pages before the day is out.

We did a good job with Melo and if Tom was leading the discussions Melo was pretty impressed. Tom knows basketball and by far the smartest coach Melo has spoken with.

If he doesn't come it's about $$$$. I cannot be mad at that. We have still a great team to look forward to. Let's hope for McBuckets to have a great rookie season.

Meh, I still think we're in the running. If he does sacrifice an entire season for the CHANCE, not guaranteed, THE CHANCE to actually be a playoff team next year with the Knicks. Wow, what an idiot. I'll believe it when he makes the decision this weekend.

Piggy backing off of Otwok's post in the other Melo thread and combining the Mirotic news, what's the deal with the Bulls and the front court?

If they knew Mirotic was coming over and they wanted to keep Taj, where does Pau fit in? Noah/Pau/Taj/Mirotic is over kill. Well, not over kill, but 1 of those guys would be missing out on some minutes.

It seems like there is definitely more to it as far as that side of the plan goes...Melo wants Pau? Taj really does have to go? Mirotic is being traded?

To me this is the biggest signal that the Bulls are still active and feel like they still have many options. I can't see their plan being to load up on those 4 guys. And it seems to me a little more orchestrated than just our FO covering their bases. Who knows?

That one guy said in the other Melo thread that he has eliminated the Mavs. It's not true. And the Lakers are meeting with LeBron agent because they pitched playing with LeBron to Melo during the meeting. They are just about the process of trying to do that.

By about the 685th page of the Amare saga, people pretty much knew Black Jesus was a false prophet.
