Anyway we can bring him in? Do you think Wolves willing to take back Snell (young asset with potential), E'twaun Moore unguaranteed contract. Still short about 2 million in salary to make the number work. In a perfect world, I will throw in Kirk Hinrich to make it work. But, there's just no way Bulls trade him again for the 2nd time.

Start Brewer at 3, bring MDJ off the bench. Doug needs time to recover his knee, and won't be ready to play at the highest level this year.

I think I rather bring Brewer off the bench because they run alot more than the starters do and that's in Brewer's favor because he loves leaking out in transisition. Plus We need at least one reliable 3pt shooter starting and Dunleavy gives us that.

Good point. Brewer can come off the bench, but he should still see more minutes than MDJ. Brewer makes the perfect 3 though, next to Niko at 4 and Jimmy at 2.

He plays defense so I wouldn't be surprised if he got more minutes and I don't think MDJ would complain.

According to the ESPN report, the Timberwolves are looking to get a 1st round pick as part of any trade for Corey Brewer. I personally wouldn't want to give up a 1st rd pick for him, but what about you guys...would you?

Nobody is giving a first round pick for Brewer, IMO. Maybe with some protection like if the Bulls make the finals or if the Bulls have a first round pick in the range of 25+, you will get the pick. But, even that's an overpay for a guy who might be a vet min contract sooner than later.

I would give up a heavy protected 1st probably next year for him. Other than that nope. He and Dunleavy are putting almost the same stats with the only big difference between the 2 is age. Bulls got a heayv protected 1st for an all star.

I'm surprised CLE isn't making a call for Brewer.
LeBron knows defense is key in the playoffs and Brewer is a willing defender who can make a few buckets.

He could also be an asset to NY. They could do a lot worse than him.....

Here?
I'm not sure we have the minutes if everyone stays healthy.
I'd rather see Miroitec keep getting the min.

I'd throw in the Sac pick. With the coaching change, there are a lot of uncertainties. We are in a win now mode. I'm also comfortable with what we have in Rose, Butler, Mirotic as core building blocks for long term.

Minnesota isn't getting more than an average player and a 2nd round pick(s) for Brewer.

Cause he has an player option so he can choose to be a FA after this season. A team would be stupid to give up more assets than what I wrote

Can Brewer guard physical 3s like LeBron? He's pretty frail.

Well you don't have to be built to play defense. Kirk, Prince, and even Thabo aren't really strong , but they like Brewer play great defense (Prince's defense may be good rather than great) on guys bigger than them because they play smart.

Per Woj, a proposed trade would send Rondo to Dallas in exchange for B Wright, Crowder and picks. They are reportedly looking for a 3rd team. I wonder if they would unload Crowder to us for Moore (unguaranteed) and a 2nd

Looking at the Rondo trade, it really looks like the Bulls can easily get a decent wing without giving up big assets...maybe a protected first round pick is a sweetener.

Rondo was sought after by the Rockets as a 3rd option and Celtics didn't get much. The Bulls are probably looking for a much less valued player.

What sort of contracts would we have to include to get Jeff Green?

I've heard a few people mention him as an option, but I can't see a way you can attain him financially without including Taj, which I wouldn't do.

Assuming there's no other way?

Any possibility that we can sign Jae Crowder from Celtics?

Okay, I'm sold. That and the Bulls 1st and I'm all over that deal. If they really push it, I'd consider giving them the Kings pick instead.
